Photo Culler for Weddings/Portrait sessions

My name is Tia, and I am a Wedding/Portrait Photographer in search of a freelance assistant to support me in culling photo sessions and weddings from June-November approximately.

I currently have 21 weddings and many sessions for the 2026 season. I am offering an hourly rate of $5.00 CAD per hour for culling and any VA tasks I may request in the future. (If all is going well, I may be wanting to teach more tasks if interested like VA tasks or even editing)

The main task I would be looking to have done weekly is:
- Culling (sorting) through images from weddings and sessions and selecting the best ones to tell the story. (I will train you how to do this)

What I am NOT looking for:
-If you do not work efficiently, have difficulty with deadlines, can’t take honest feedback, have an unreliable internet source or are disorganized, this is not the position for you - please do not apply.

What I AM looking for:
-Enjoys going through wedding/session photos and values photography.
-Flexible schedule to have jobs back to me within 24-48 hours for culls
-Eagerness to learn, efficiency & hard work are valued greatly by me!
-Someone who takes pride in their work
-Someone who is emotionally intelligent and connects to photography
-Someone who is organized, quick learner, can meet deadlines, strong in English, loyal, passionate about creating a fantastic employer/employee experience, has a positive outlook, and always willing to do their best!

Each month is slightly different with busy season (June-September) having more work and slow season having slightly less. On average, about 10-15 hours worth of work per week. Some may be more, some may be less.
