Shopify Website

We are a Canadian based company that currently has one e-commerce store on Shopify but would like to grow several other Shopify stores based on several niches. We are looking for a Virtual Assistant who has experience with Shopify and with building e-commerce websites. We can offer a very good opportunity for progression. This position will start as part time (20 hours/week) and if you have the skills that we require, will grow in hours and salary after the first two months of the probationary period.
Experience with Oberlo and Zonify would be a plus.

Your tasks would include:
1. Content Writing and Product Editing
Summary:
Blog: You will have to write one or two high-quality content blog per week. Those blogs will be then used for our promotion campaigns and email marketing.
In regards to our product creation and description, we will import the products into “Oberlo”, and we will tell you how we want them to be edited. You will then have to edit the product images and descriptions accordingly. You will also have to link every product to the suitable collection and add the sizing guide which will be provided to you by us. Product descriptions should be short but creative and well designed!

Skills required for this task:
• Creative Web Content writing (Copywriting)
• Editing Product Titles and Descriptions with keyword optimization
• Editing Product Images by Resizing, Removing and Replacing Logos, changing into Plain or White Backgrounds (we can provide you with our own software or you can use any software of your choice if desired)
• Product Tagging and Resizing Variants
• Editing and publishing products to our online store using “Oberlo” or another App.

2) Orders fulfillment
• Updating Tracking Numbers of Orders
• Finding related order and checking order status
• Communicating with Customers and Suppliers

3) Customer Service:
• Support via email and messenger
• Processing returns, exchanges, and follow up emails
• Excellent problem solving ability

4) Other Admin tasks:
• Working with Google Sheets & Excel
• Assist us on other office admin tasks and product marketing as needed.


To be considered for this position you MUST also:

1) Have experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, (Woocommerce) and dropshipping businesses.
2) Have Excellent English Communication Skills (most importantly in Written)
3) Have the ability to Conduct In-Depth Research Independently
4) Have a Strong work ethic
5) Have your own fully operational computer with good internet connection
6) Be Responsible, reliable, trustworthy and efficient


Bonus Skills: Desired but not required:
• Website and image design ability
• Understanding of best SEO practices
• Willingness to Manage a Team of Writers Once You Prove Yourself (Significant Pay Increase w/ Bonuses
• Photoshop & Illustrator
• Email Marketing (Get Response, MailChimp, Etc.)
• Social Media (Facebook fan page posts)

We are looking for a team player who takes pride in their work and would never willfully submit sub-standard material. This is a real job that requires real commitment and hard work. Salary:
Payment will be made every week via PayPal. There would be a one-week trial period. If not satisfied, we will end our collaboration. There would be an additional two-month period, after which we will review your salary for potential raises. We will continue to raise salary on regular bases until we reach a point where both parties are happy according to your ability. We also provide company performance commission and bonuses.
