Salary Range: $4.00 - $7.00/hour (Depending on portfolio experience)
Job Summary:
We are a growing digital marketing and TikTok Shop affiliate brand looking for a highly creative, fast-paced short-form video editor. You will be responsible for tracking high-performing TikTok video structures, using Claude AI to rewrite scripts into fresh angles, and assembling high-retention vertical videos (9:16) using CapCut.
Core Responsibilities:
Review viral video transcripts provided by the manager and analyze their hooks and pacing.
Utilize Claude AI (using our role-and-framework templates) to rewrite scripts to guarantee 100% original text.
Source high-quality, relevant product B-roll using Canva AI, Vmake AI, or raw product assets.
Edit videos in CapCut with a heavy emphasis on viewer retention: visual cuts or pattern interrupts every 3-4 seconds.
Generate realistic TikTok AI voiceovers and apply high-contrast, trendy auto-captions.
Sync trending background tracks (lowered to 3-5% volume) to maximize algorithm push.
Required Qualifications:
Proven portfolio of short-form vertical videos (TikTok, Reels, or Shorts) showing tight editing, smooth transitions, and engaging text styling.
Advanced proficiency in CapCut (Desktop version preferred) and Canva.
Experience or strong comfort level working with generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or AI video tools).
Fluent written and spoken English with an understanding of US consumer humor and internet slang.
Reliable, high-speed internet connection with a power backup system.
