We are moving past basic data entry. We need a seasoned systems expert who thinks in spreadsheets, catches issues proactively, and executes flawed-proof backend operations. If you’re someone who can effortlessly navigate massive datasets, build automated trackers, and resolve complex variation glitches before they disrupt our business, you’re going to get along great with us.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Amazon Catalog Operations Lead, you will be responsible for taking end-to-end ownership of catalog workflows, reporting, and data processes for large-scale Amazon apparel and footwear catalogs. This is a highly analytical role focused on executing, quality-assuring, and improving structured backend operations to ensure absolute data accuracy and seamless listing functionality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Catalog Management & Bulk Uploads: Masterfully populate and manage Amazon Vendor Central item setup templates and execute bulk catalog updates utilizing category-specific inventory flat files.
Complex Issue Resolution: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve high-level catalog issues, including fixing broken parent-child variation matrices, missing attributes, and suppressed or deactivated items.
Data Analysis & Tracker Construction: Analyze large, messy datasets to identify errors or inconsistencies. Build, manipulate, and validate pivot-based reporting tools to maintain flawless internal tracking.
Vendor Central Case Management: Proactively monitor Vendor Central alerts and support cases. Know exactly how to navigate Amazon's support ecosystem to resolve backend discrepancies and technical glitches efficiently.
Rigorous Quality Assurance: Execute strict QA and validation protocols on all data outputs before submission to guarantee total catalog integrity.
Process Optimization & SOPs: Troubleshoot data workflows and document clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Over time, you will review work completed by support tea

QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Stack Expertise: Advanced, expert-level proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft 365 (absolute comfort building/validating pivot tables, using text formulas, and data cleaning large, messy datasets is required).
Proven Amazon Experience: Deep, hands-on experience working with the Amazon Vendor Central backend ecosystem and bulk inventory flat files.

Hyper-Attention to Detail: An innate ability to follow structured workflows meticulously and proactively spot data discrepancies or formatting errors.
English Fluency: Exceptional written English communication skills for drafting clear internal documentation and professional, persuasive correspondence with Amazon support teams.
Autonomy & Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to operate independently, manage catalog emergencies under pressure, and take increasing ownership over processes over time.
