Part-Time Chargeback Specialist for Fashion Dropshipping Store (Shopify)

Hi, my name is Sam! I'm looking for an experienced Chargeback Specialist to take over the chargeback handling for my Shopify fashion dropshipping store. I currently spend too much time on this myself and need someone reliable to manage the full process for me.

About the role:
You will be responsible for handling all incoming chargebacks via Shopify Payments. This includes gathering evidence (proof of delivery, IP data, tracking, customer communication, payment authentication data), building structured rebuttal packages, and submitting them through the Shopify dispute portal in English.

Workload:
This is a part-time position. The volume of chargebacks is manageable, not extreme, so the weekly hours are limited. However, there is real potential for this to grow into a full-time role as the business scales, and additional related tasks may be added over time for the right person.

Compensation:
Starting rate: $5 USD per hour. Performance-based raises are possible once you've proven your value.

Required experience:
- Proven experience handling Shopify chargebacks (fraudulent, item not received, item not as described)
- Previous work with multiple dropshipping companies, ideally in the fashion dropshipping niche, similar to mine
- Strong understanding of evidence requirements: 3D Secure, CVC checks, AVS, tracking and proof of delivery, network authorization data
- Familiarity with Shopify Admin, Shopify Payments, and the dispute submission process
- Excellent written English (rebuttals are submitted in English)
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently

Bonus if you have:
- Experience with Gorgias, supplier communication for POD requests, experience with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude
- Familiarity with the EU/Spanish market
- Your own work sheets, trackers, or templates that you use to keep chargeback cases organized
