OUTBOARD ENGINE TECHNICIAN (SINGAPORE)

You will install, service, repair, inspect, and troubleshoot marine outboard engines to ensure optimal performance and safety on small boats and crafts. You will work closely with a team to maintain equipment and assist with related repairs.

Responsibilities

Install marine outboard engines following technical specifications to ensure proper operation

Service and repair outboard engines to restore and maintain functionality

Perform routine inspections and overhauls to identify and resolve engine issues

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in outboard engines to minimize downtime

Read and interpret service manuals to apply correct maintenance procedures

Maintain all equipment onboard small boats and crafts collaboratively with a team of technicians

Assist in repairing trailers as needed to support overall equipment readiness

Prepare service reports and documentations

Complete any ad-hoc duties assigned to support team and operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

Hands-on experience in servicing and repairing marine outboard engines

Ability to operate computerized diagnostic equipment

Effective communication skills to collaborate within a technical team

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Electrical skills relevant to marine equipment maintenance

Possession of a class 3 driver’s license
