Video Editor ???? Needed for Faceless Documentary Channel

We are looking for a talented video editor for long-term work on a cinematic, documentary-style faceless YouTube channel focusing on ancient mysteries.

**Your Role:**
You will be responsible for editing our videos (approx. 8-10 minutes long). We provide the script and the English audio track. We can provide lots of examples from similar channels to find related clips of clean stockfootage (not to steal all the content from one video). Your job is to overlay high-quality, atmospheric stock footage and if needed your own realistic AI footage to match the narrative.

**Important Timeline Rule:**
Our English voiceover tracks include **3 to 4 seconds of intentional silence** between major sections. **Do not cut these silences out.** We use these gaps because the video will be translated into other languages later, and the foreign text needs that extra time to fit. Simply let the visual clip keep playing smoothly right through the silence.

**Requirements:**
* **Portfolio Required:** You must show examples of your past relevant work. Applications without related video samples will be ignored.
* Ability to find and select high-quality, relevant stock footage and if needed place AI gootage seamlessly.

* Good communication skills and ability to meet weekly deadlines.

**Hiring Process (Paid Test):**
* Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a **paid 3-minute sample edit** ($3 total) using a clip of our script and audio so we can evaluate your skills and editing style.

**Deliverables:**
* 1 x Finished English Video
**Payment Rate & Method:**
* We pay a flat rate of **$1 per minute** of the finished video file (e.g. an 8-10 minute video)
* Payment will be sent securely via **Wise or PayPal**.
