About Pax Distribution

Pax Distribution is an ecommerce and Amazon-focused business. We manage Amazon for brands so they don't have to. A large portion of what we do today is still done by hand and involves a lot of repetition.

We believe that AI combined with automation should take over as much of that busywork as possible. We are not searching for a "researcher." We need someone who actually ships working automations that free up time every single week.

The Role — What You Will Be Doing

Your job comes down to this:

- Watch how our team operates day to day (via Zoom, Loom recordings, Slack, and more)
- Spot repetitive, rule-based tasks that are currently done by hand
- Build automations so our team no longer has to do those tasks manually
- Maintain those automations and make them better over time

Some examples of the kind of work you'd be doing:

- When a new lead arrives, automatically pull the data, log it into Google Sheets or a CRM, and push a summary to Slack
- Use AI tools like OpenAI to generate draft Amazon listing copy from a product brief
- Automatically compile weekly reports from multiple sources into one clean dashboard
- Sync and clean up data across tools such as Sheets, email, and project management platforms

We are not asking you to build something from scratch or invent a new product. We want you to save us time on the work we are already doing.

- You naturally ask "Why are we still doing this by hand?"
- You enjoy making yourself and your teammates more efficient by replacing manual steps with workflows
- You think in systems — if this happens, send that there, store this here
- You are already using AI tools and want to push them further
- You have hands-on experience building automations with tools like Python, JavaScript, Zapier, Make, n8n, OpenAI API, or similar
- You can explain what you built and how it works in plain, simple language
