JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated, proactive, and results-driven Recruiter to join our growing team specializing in Australian recruitment and migration services.

This role will play a key part in developing and managing the careers and recruitment division of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with Australian employers, understanding workforce needs, sourcing suitable overseas candidates, and coordinating the recruitment process from employer engagement through to placement.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and relationship-management skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to work independently in a growing business environment.

Key Responsibilities
Employer Engagement & Business Development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian employers seeking overseas talent.
• Conduct discovery calls and meetings with employers to understand workforce shortages, staffing requirements, and recruitment needs.
• Promote and present the company’s recruitment and migration service offerings to prospective and existing clients.
• Develop new employer partnerships and contribute to the growth of the recruitment division.
• Maintain regular communication with employers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
• Coordinate discussions regarding job requirements and ensure alignment between employer expectations and candidate suitability.

Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment
• Source qualified overseas candidates through job boards, databases, referrals, networking platforms, and direct outreach.
• Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates based on employer requirements.
• Conduct interviews and candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, communication ability, and suitability.
• Coordinate interviews between employers and candidates.
• Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate recruitment records and databases.
• Support candidates throughout the recruitment and placement process.

Migration & Compliance Support
• Work closely with migration teams to identify suitable visa and sponsorship pathways for candidates.
• Gather and organise required candidate documentation for recruitment and migration purposes.
• Ensure recruitment activities comply with Australian employment standards and ethical international recruitment practices.
• Keep up to date with labour market trends, employer sponsorship requirements, and recruitment industry developments.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and recruitment systems.
• Prepare recruitment reports and progress updates for management and employers.
• Track recruitment activities, placements, and employer communications.
• Assist with drafting job advertisements, position descriptions, and recruitment marketing materials.

Key Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, sales, customer service, business development, or migration services preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to confidently engage with Australian employers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
• Experience in international recruitment or employer-sponsored migration is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and online recruitment platforms.
