We are a fast-growing Australian accounting and advisory firm focused on building the future of operational efficiency through AI, automation and modern workflow systems.

We are investing heavily into automation, AI-enabled workflows and internal tooling to improve how accounting and advisory services are delivered. This role will work directly with our AI Lead to help turn ideas, prototypes and workflows into stable, scalable business solutions.

This is not a traditional software developer role. We are looking for a practical systems builder who enjoys solving operational problems using automation, AI and modern development tools.

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Workflow & Automation Developer to help design, build and maintain internal automations, integrations and lightweight applications that improve business operations across our firm.

You will work closely with leadership and our AI Lead to turn workflow concepts and operational requirements into real working systems.

The ideal person is highly curious, self-directed, technically capable and enjoys building practical solutions using modern AI-assisted tools.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Building internal workflow automations and operational systems
- Developing AI-enabled business processes and integrations
- Connecting APIs, platforms and business tools
- Creating lightweight internal applications and interfaces
- Improving and maintaining existing automation systems
- Assisting with workflow design, optimisation and implementation
- Debugging and refining automations over time
- Experimenting with new AI tools, technologies and approaches
- Translating operational problems into scalable technical solutions

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of in-house experience

- Strong workflow and systems thinking capability
- Experience building automations and integrations in real business environments
- Strong problem-solving and debugging ability
- Experience working with APIs and connected systems
- Comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Strong communication skills in English
- Practical, execution-focused mindset
