JOB OVERVIEW

Part-time · Remote Role
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist

We're a growing hair restoration clinic group with a current database of 11,000 cold leads and a Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud + Marketing Cloud + PMS) that we're actively building out. We need someone who can own the email marketing function end-to-end — not just execute campaigns, but manage the platform, maintain the data, and connect marketing activity directly to consultation bookings and overall take responsibility of the Sales & Marketing Cloud.

This is a part-time role for someone based remotely. You'll work closely with our marketing and sales team and have direct visibility into the commercial performance of everything you build and manage.

What you'll own
- Build and manage multi-step nurture journeys in Journey Builder for new leads, cold leads, and post-consultation follow-ups
- Maintain Data Extensions and Automation Studio to keep segments accurate and synced with Sales Cloud
- Manage list hygiene, deliverability monitoring, and sender reputation — bounce rates, spam complaints, suppression lists
- Report on email performance and tie results to consultation bookings using Sales Cloud data — not just open rates
- Run A/B tests on subject lines, send times, and journey branching logic, then act on what you find
- Coordinate with the sales and clinical team so email content reflects what's actually happening in consultations

What we need from you
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Hands-on experience with Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio. Not exposure — ownership.
Data Extensions
Comfortable building and managing a structured data model in SFMC, not just using All Subscribers.

- Marketing Cloud Connect
Understands how SFMC and Sales Cloud integrate, what syncs between them, and how to troubleshoot when it breaks.

- Deliverability
SPF, DKIM, DMARC, IP warm-up, and list hygiene are conversational, not things they need to look up.

- Segmentation logic
Can look at a lead list and independently propose a segmentation model based on recency, behaviour, and stage.

- Reporting and attribution
Builds dashboards that connect email activity to business outcomes, not just campaign-level vanity metrics.

- Certifications
The following are preferred, not mandatory — but a strong signal of platform commitment:

Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator

Experience level
3–5 years of hands-on SFMC experience. We need someone who has owned an instance, not just contributed to one. If your only email marketing experience is in Klaviyo, Hubspot, or Mailchimp, this role isn't the right fit.

Nice to have
Experience in healthcare, aesthetics, or any high-consideration consumer service where people research for months before committing. Familiarity with SFMC Intelligence Reports or Datorama. Understanding of Australian consumer behaviour is a bonus but not required.

What you can expect from us
A platform that's being actively invested in, not a legacy system on life support. Direct access to decision-makers. A lead base that's real, sizable, and commercially meaningful. Rate to be discussed based on experience.

How to apply
Send us a short overview of a Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance you've owned — what the setup looked like, what journeys you built, and how you measured performance. Applications without this will not be progressed.
