JOB OVERVIEW

Title: Amazon Ungating Specialist — Grocery Category (Experienced VAs Only)

About the role:

We're an Amazon Online Arbitrage seller looking for an experienced VA to help us get ungated in restricted brands and categories. We're starting with Grocery & Gourmet Food and expanding from there.
This begins as a paid two-phase test. The strongest performer moves into an ongoing part-time role (10-20 hrs/week to start, room to grow).

What you'll do:

Source legitimate invoices from approved US distributors (UNFI, KeHE, Dot Foods, regional specialty, etc.)
Prepare and submit ungating applications through Seller Central
Handle rejection appeals and follow-ups until approval
read and analyze keepa and selleramp data
Keep clear records of every submission, supplier, and outcome

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year hands-on Amazon ungating experience (list specific brands/categories you've ungated)
Familiar with current Amazon invoice requirements
Strong written English for appeal letters
At least 2 hours daily overlap with US Eastern Time
Reliable internet and ability to use Loom for short video updates

Pay structure:

Phase 1 (sourcing plan): $10 flat, 3 business days
Phase 2 (live execution, top candidates only): $30 flat + invoice reimbursement
Ongoing role: $[X]/hr OR $[Y] per successful ungating — negotiable based on experience

To apply, send:

List of brands/categories you've ungated with rough success rate
Short description of your invoice sourcing approach
A sample appeal letter you've written (redact client info)
Your DISC profile if you have one
Days/hours you can overlap with US Eastern Time

Please don't apply if you don't have direct ungating experience — we can't train from zero. We respond to shortlisted applicants within 3 days.
