JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking to hire immediately. This job posting will only be available for the next 24 hours. All applicants must complete take home assignment before 12PM Eastern Time. See here for the take home assignment: ----------

Interviews will be scheduled for Thursday afternoon Pacific Time.

We're a fast-moving healthcare operations team that handles prior authorizations (PAs) for infusion clinic. We're building a team of sharp, hungry operators to help us do it at scale.

As a Care Specialist, you'll be on the front lines — initiating PA requests, verifying insurance benefits, navigating payer portals and phone systems, and documenting cases accurately in our internal platform. You'll work directly with our team leads and report into operations leadership.

Warning: this is not an easy job. The learning curve is steep and the pace is fast— every case you touch is a patient waiting on treatment. We'll train you on the content, but we can't train work ethic, attention to detail, or the drive to push through hard problems. If you want comfortable, this isn't it. If you want growth, you’ll fit right in.

What You'll Do
Initiate prior authorization requests with insurance payers via online portals and phone calls
Accurately document case details, call notes, and outcomes in our internal case management platform
Navigate complex payer phone trees and hold times without losing steam
Identify when cases hit non-standard situations and escalate or problem-solve proactively
Follow SOPs closely while flagging gaps or process improvement opportunities
Manage a live queue of cases across multiple statuses — nothing falls through the cracks

You're a Great Fit If You Are...
Hungry and self-driven
You don't wait to be told what to do next — you find the next task
You want to grow fast and take on more responsibility over time

Obsessively detail-oriented
You catch errors others miss - wrong codes, missing fields, inconsistent info
You don't submit work you're not sure about
You understand that one mistake in a PA form can delay a patient's treatment by weeks

A fast, independent learner
You can read a new SOP and execute it correctly within a few days
You ask smart clarifying questions before going down the wrong path
You're comfortable not knowing everything on day one and excited to learn

A creative problem-solver
When a case hits an edge case, you think before you escalate
You come to your manager with a proposed solution, not just a problem
You document what happened so the next person doesn't hit the same wall

Resilient and relentless
Hold times, rejections, and ambiguous situations don't demoralize you
You stay focused through repetitive tasks without cutting corners
Requirements
Strong written and spoken English - you'll communicate with US insurance reps and clinic staff
Comfortable working US business hours (EST or PST overlap required)
Tech-comfortable — you can navigate multiple browser tabs, portals, and spreadsheets simultaneously
Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment
What You Don't Need
A medical or clinical background — we'll teach you what you need to know about PAs and insurance. You just need to be a fast learner.
Years of experience — we care far more about how you think and how hard you work

What We Offer
Above-market starting pay — we pay more than most entry-level BPO or VA roles because we expect more
Performance bonuses — hit your targets, earn more. Hustle is rewarded directly
Formal 4-month review — we evaluate and adjust compensation fast, not on a yearly corporate clock
Solid career growth path — PA Agent ? Senior PA Agent ? Team Lead. We promote from within and we're growing very fast
Ground-floor opportunity — you're joining early. The people who build with us now are the ones who lead later
Fully Remote
