We're a US-based business that makes laser-cut stencils — both custom designs and a large catalog of pre-designed stencils. We have a Pinterest account that's been inactive for a few years, plus a large library of existing project photos and videos. We're looking for someone reliable to take full ownership of Pinterest, revive the account, and grow it into a steady source of traffic to our website.
This is an ongoing, long-term role for the right person. We're looking for consistency week after week, not a one-time cleanup.
What you'll do
To start, you'll work entirely from our existing content. That means:
Auditing the current Pinterest account — identifying any old pins still getting impressions and refreshing them, and cleaning up or removing what isn't working.
Organizing the account into clear, well-named boards (for example: wedding signage, nursery decor, home decor, business/logo projects, and so on).
Using our existing photo and video library to create fresh, attractive pins — including video pins and before/after or in-progress project pins, which tend to perform best.
Writing keyword-optimized pin titles, descriptions, and board names so our content gets found in Pinterest search.
Once our new pre-designed catalog goes live on the website, you'll move into the second phase: creating pins for those new designs and organizing them into boards that match how the products are grouped on our site.
All pins should link to our website. Every pin needs a trackable link (we'll show you how) so we can see what's driving traffic.
What we're looking for
Real experience managing a Pinterest account for a business, ideally one that sells visual or home/craft products.
A genuine understanding that Pinterest is a search engine, not just a social network — meaning you know how Pinterest SEO and keywords work, not just how to repost images.
Comfort creating fresh pin graphics from existing photos and video (basic Canva-level design is fine).
Strong written English for pin descriptions and titles.
Consistency and the ability to work independently once you understand our brand and goals.
Nice to have
Experience with Pinterest Trends or keyword research tools.
Familiarity with UTM links or basic traffic tracking.
An eye for the kind of clean, project-focused content that DIY and home-decor audiences save and share.
