JOB OVERVIEW

We're hiring a Social Media Content Strategist to lead the creative vision, ideation, and strategic direction behind our short-form content engine across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This is the senior creative role on the social team. You are the person who has the ideas - who watches a long-form episode and immediately knows which fifteen seconds will stop a scroll, who sees a cultural ---------- nt and already has three concepts ready before anyone asks.

You will be working directly with a creator who has over 4 million followers across platforms, with Instagram as the primary channel. Our content operation is structured like a studio with batch production, performance metrics, and AI-native systems. You own the creative engine - the ideas, the concepts, the narrative direction, and the quality standard. You manage the Content Producer who handles daily execution, publishing, and platform operations. Together you run a system that produces high-volume, high-quality content every day.

This is a full-time remote position. We are looking for a senior creative operator who generates ideas naturally, understands modern platform dynamics at a deep level, actively integrates AI into workflows, and holds every piece of content to an elite standard. A genuine interest in health, beauty, and strong visual aesthetics is essential - this is the world we operate in, and you need to live and breathe it.

Responsibilities
- Generate and develop original content ideas, concepts, and creative angles on a continuous basis. You are the primary source of what we make and why.
- Identify high-retention ---------- nts within long-form content and develop them into short-form concepts with clear hooks, narrative arcs, and platform-specific angles.
- Develop creative briefs and direction for each content cycle, giving the Content Producer and editors clear guidance on what to build and how it should feel.
- Lead trend research and cultural awareness across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, spotting opportunities early and translating them into on-brand concepts.
- Translate brand strategy into high-performing content concepts, story structures, and creative playbooks that guide all short-form output.
- Define and evolve the brand's visual and tonal identity across platforms, maintaining a cohesive and premium creative standard.
- Direct and approve content through production and post-production, ensuring quality, creative alignment, and platform-ready formatting before anything publishes.
- Manage the Content Producer by setting priorities, providing creative direction, reviewing output, and ensuring disciplined execution of the publishing calendar.
- Analyze performance data at a strategic level, identifying what is working, why it is working, and how to double down or pivot.
- Build and optimize repeatable creative systems, including AI-driven workflows that streamline ideation, editing, and production.
- Partner with the production team to ensure social-first thinking is embedded in long-form content capture and planning.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a creative strategy or production leadership role in digital media, YouTube, branded content, or entertainment with proven results.
- A natural idea generator who consistently develops strong content concepts, creative angles, and fresh approaches without waiting to be briefed.
- Genuine interest in health, beauty, and aesthetics. You naturally follow this space, understand the visual standards, and care about how things look and feel.
- Deep fluency in platform culture and trends. You know what is trending, why it is working, and how to adapt it to a creator's voice without losing authenticity.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, and modern platform dynamics across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging formats.
- Demonstrated experience managing at least one direct report and owning creative and performance outcomes.
- Proven ability to operate across creative strategy and production logistics while maintaining high quality standards.
- Editing and design literacy. You do not need to be the hands-on editor, but you must be able to direct editors and designers with precise, actionable feedback.
- AI-forward operator who actively integrates AI into creative and production workflows. Bonus for familiarity with tools such as Runway, VEO or Flow, ChatGPT, or Claude.
- Strong editorial judgment. You can look at a piece of content and immediately know what is missing, what is not working, and how to fix it.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to give clear, concise creative direction.
- Must submit a strong portfolio demonstrating creative direction, ideation, and platform-native content across multiple formats.
- Recognized for exceptional achievements such as attaining Latin Honors (Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, Cum Laude), performance awards, or demonstrating fast career progression into higher roles.
