Finance Officer VA

Job Title: Finance Officer VA (Part-Time – 1 Day Per Week)

We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer / Finance Virtual Assistant to support both business and personal finance administration on a part-time basis (approximately 1 day per week maybe more ).

This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in a finance, bookkeeping, accounts, or finance manager support role and can operate independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Business Finance

* Weekly review of company income and expenses
* Cash flow tracking and reporting
* Monitor company bank transactions
* Categorise spending and maintain clean financial records
* Prepare weekly finance summaries and dashboards
* Support budgeting and financial planning
* Track outstanding payments and subscriptions
* Identify unnecessary costs and savings opportunities
* Liaise with accountant where required

Personal Finance Support

* Organise personal accounts and spending
* Track monthly personal expenses
* Build simple wealth/net worth tracking reports
* Help manage personal financial admin
* Monitor recurring payments and commitments

Requirements:

* Minimum 2+ years experience in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, FP&A, or Finance Operations
* Previous experience working remotely as a Finance VA or Finance Officer
* Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills
* Strong analytical ability
* High attention to detail
* Comfortable handling confidential financial information
* Excellent written English
* Proactive and organised

Preferred:

* Experience with property, Airbnb, serviced accommodation, or real estate businesses
* Experience using Xero
* Dashboard/reporting experience

Hours:

* Approximately 1 day per week initially
* Potential to increase based on performance
