We run an active content engine — paid
This is a long-term, full-time role. We're not looking for a freelancer juggling 5 clients. We want someone who wants to grow with one company.
What You'll Be Doing
• Editing
• Designing static
• Editing long-form YouTube videos (talking head + b-roll + graphics + captions)
• Editing YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels from long-form footage
• Adding captions, lower thirds, motion graphics, and on-screen text
• Maintaining brand consistency
• Organizing raw footage and project files
Must-Have Skills
• Strong portfolio of
• Strong portfolio of static social ad designs
• Highly proficient in professional video editing software — Adobe Premiere Pro preferred, or equivalent professional tools you do your best work in (DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut Pro, etc.)
• Highly proficient in design software for static ads — Canva (Pro level) preferred, or equivalent (Photoshop, Figma, Affinity, etc.)
• Working knowledge of (or willingness to learn) Google Flow for AI-generated video assets
• Excellent understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, and what makes an ad stop the scroll
• Native or near-native English comprehension
• Reliable internet and a computer that can handle 4K editing
• Available to work full U.S. Eastern Time business hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday
Nice to Have
• Experience in the construction industry (any role — contractor, trades, construction office, construction marketing). This is a BIG plus. Our content is 100% focused on contractors and construction business owners, so if you already understand the world of estimating, job costing, change orders, and running a trades business, you'll ramp up much faster and produce better creative from day one.
• Experience editing for the coaching, consulting, or B2B service industries
• Motion graphics / After Effects skills
• Understanding of direct-response copy and how visuals support a written hook
• Experience with YouTube SEO basics (thumbnails, end screens)
• Experience with AI video tools (Google Flow, Runway, Sora, Kling, etc.)
