JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented and self-driven Video Editor & Voiceover Artist to help produce YouTube content in a style similar to the channel Neu — narration-driven, visually engaging videos that keep viewers hooked from start to finish. You will receive a written script and be responsible for recording your own voiceover, sourcing relevant footage and visuals online, and editing everything into a polished, high-retention video.

What you'll do
Read and understand the provided script before starting production.
Record a professional voiceover reading of the script — your own voice, no AI.
Research and source footage, images, and b-roll online that visually match and enhance the narration at each moment.
Edit the full video in DaVinci Resolve (preferred), ensuring smooth pacing, good audio quality, and strong viewer retention.
Ensure visual content is well-matched to the voiceover — every clip should feel intentional and support what's being said.
Deliver ready-to-upload videos on a consistent schedule.

Requirements
Proficient in DaVinci Resolve (other NLEs considered, but DaVinci Resolve is strongly preferred).
Native-level or near-native English — clear, neutral accent with no heavy regional inflection. A masculine voice is required for this role.
Strong ability to find and select compelling, high-quality footage that matches narration context.
Sharp eye for detail — timing, audio sync, clip selection, and overall video quality must be consistently high.
Fast learner who can adapt to feedback and evolving content guidelines.
Proactive attitude — you flag issues, suggest improvements, and don't wait to be told what to do next.
Reliable internet connection and a proper microphone/recording setup.
Available to work approximately 6 hours per day.

Nice to have
Experience editing narration-driven YouTube videos (documentary or educational style).
Familiarity with stock footage platforms (Pexels, Pixabay, Storyblocks, etc.).
Basic color grading and audio mastering skills.

How to apply
To be considered, your application must include both of the following:

1. Editing portfolio — links to YouTube videos or downloadable samples showcasing your previous work. We especially want to see narration-driven or documentary-style edits, but any strong editing work is welcome.
2. Voiceover sample — a short audio or video recording (1–2 minutes) of you reading any text of your choice in English. This is how we assess your voice, clarity, and delivery. Use whatever recording setup you have — we're listening for tone and naturalness, not studio production quality.
Applications missing either the portfolio or the voiceover sample will not be reviewed.
