???? ROLE OVERVIEW
We are bringing our digital marketing operations in-house and are looking for a skilled, self-directed Digital Marketing & SEO Specialist to help us build a reliable, high-performing marketing engine from the ground up.
This is not a passive role. You will not be given instructions and expected to follow scripts. You will be expected to think, audit, optimize, execute, and report — then do it again, better.
You will initially support our transition away from an external marketer (within 30 days) and gradually take full ownership of our digital presence, lead generation systems, and marketing performance reporting.

???? CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Local SEO & Google Ecosystem
• Own and optimize our Google Business Profile (GBP) — posts, categories, photos, Q&A, reviews, attributes
• Execute local SEO strategies targeting our service area (Canton, GA and surrounding communities)
• Perform ongoing keyword research focused on local, high-intent homecare search terms
• Conduct technical SEO audits and implement fixes (site speed, schema, crawlability, mobile UX)
• Manage Google Search Console — monitor indexing, fix errors, track performance
• Set up, maintain, and interpret Google Analytics 4 (GA4) reporting
• Build and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Local Service Ads) with focus on cost-per-lead
Lead Generation & Conversion
• Optimize landing pages for conversion — layout, copy, CTAs, form flow
• Set up and manage call tracking and conversion tracking systems
• Identify and close conversion leaks across the entire lead funnel
• Build and maintain lead generation reporting dashboards
Content & Website
• Audit and optimize existing website content for SEO and UX
• Write or coordinate blog posts aligned with local SEO strategy
• Manage basic Canva design coordination for web and social assets
• Identify opportunities to improve site architecture and internal linking
Intelligence & Reporting
• Perform regular competitor analysis (rankings, content gaps, ad strategies)
• Build weekly/monthly performance dashboards with clear KPIs
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to accelerate research, content, and analysis
Operations & Systems
• Document all marketing processes and build SOPs for each function
• Maintain basic CRM familiarity (contact management, lead tracking)
• Implement basic automation workflows
• Manage reputation — respond to reviews, develop a review acquisition strategy

? REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 2+ years hands-on SEO experience (local SEO preferred)
• Proven proficiency with Google Business Profile optimization
• Strong command of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — not just viewing, but interpreting and acting
• Experience with Google Search Console beyond basic monitoring
• Google Ads experience — campaign setup, optimization, and budget management
• WordPress familiarity (basic edits, plugin management, SEO plugins like Yoast or Rank Math)
• Practical use of AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity (not just awareness — daily use)
• Strong written and spoken English — you will communicate directly with U.S.-based leadership
• High organizational discipline — you manage your own workload without hand-holding
• Clear analytical thinking — you make decisions based on data, not assumptions
• Solid understanding of local business marketing dynamics

• Prior experience in healthcare, homecare, senior care, or a regulated industry
• Familiarity with modern web builders: Webflow, Framer, v0, or similar
• Basic video editing (Shorts, Reels, short-form testimonial clips)
• Canva proficiency for ad creatives and social assets
• Experience structuring and improving local lead funnels
• Demonstrated track record of improving local map pack rankings

This is not a role where you disappear and we trust you are busy. We measure outcomes.
Within 30 days:
? Marketing transition complete — all assets, accounts, and processes documented
? GBP fully optimized and active
? GA4 and Search Console reporting functional and clean
? Baseline audit report delivered
Within 90 days:
? Measurable increase in qualified inbound leads
? Improved Google Maps visibility and organic rankings
? Functional lead tracking dashboard in place
? Google Ads campaigns running with clear CPL benchmarks
? Core marketing SOPs documented
Ongoing:
? Month-over-month improvement in organic traffic
? Reduction in cost per qualified lead
? Improving conversion rates at key funnel stages
? Proactive identification of opportunities — not waiting to be asked

? 30-DAY TRANSITION PLAN
We are currently moving from an external marketing agency to a fully internal operation. This means we need someone who can stabilize fast — audit what exists, identify what is broken or missing, and immediately begin improving.
You will inherit existing accounts, campaigns, and content — some of which may need significant cleanup. The ability to diagnose, prioritize, and execute without drama is essential.
