Social Media Manager — Job Description
Remote | Part-Time ? Full-Time Potential
About the Role
Yes, I work in real estate — but the bigger picture here is that I'm building a personal brand. This role isn't about pushing property listings. It's about building me as a recognisable figure in my space, growing a loyal audience, and turning that audience into a community that buys into me, not just the business.
I'm looking for a sharp, dependable Social Media Manager to take ownership of my content output. You'll produce 15 pieces of content per week. I provide the raw content — ideas, footage, voice notes, scripts, captions — and you turn it into polished, scroll-stopping posts that build the brand.
This is not a passive role. I want someone proactive, who asks questions, pushes back when they see a better way, and treats my brand like their own.
Weekly Workflow
This is the rhythm. It is non-negotiable.
• Sunday — I present the content deck to you (raw material, ideas, footage, direction for the week ahead).
• Monday to Friday — You present completed content to me daily for review and feedback.
• Saturday morning — All 15 pieces of content must be fully finalised, including every revision I've requested, and scheduled to go live from Sunday onwards.
• Sunday — Content begins publishing. The cycle restarts with the next deck.
If you can't hit this schedule consistently, this role isn't for you.
What You'll Be Doing
• Produce 15 pieces of content per week (Reels, carousels, static posts, stories) using the raw material I provide.
• Design high-quality graphics — carousels, quote cards, covers, branded templates.
• Edit short-form video to a professional standard — cuts, captions, transitions, hooks, retention edits.
• Schedule and publish content across platforms in line with the agreed posting plan.
• Write or refine captions and hooks where needed.
• Track performance, flag what's working, and suggest tweaks based on data.
• Stay on top of trends, audio, and formats so we're never late to a wave.
• Bring ideas to the table — not just execute mine.
What I'm Looking For
• Proven experience building personal brands (not just business pages or product accounts).
• Strong graphic design skills — show me a portfolio. I need clean, modern, on-brand work.
• Strong video editing skills — short-form first. Capcut, Premiere, or whatever you fly with, just be excellent at it.
• A solid understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and what makes content actually convert.
• Excellent written English — captions, hooks, and on-screen text.
• Proactive mindset — you ask the right questions, push for clarity, and don't sit on tasks waiting for hand-holding.
• Highly organised. You meet deadlines without me chasing you.
• Reliable communication. I need you reachable and responsive during agreed hours.
Availability & Communication
• Daily check-ins required at a set time (we'll agree this together based on your time zone).
• Must be reachable during agreed working hours for quick turnarounds and revisions.
• I don't need constant updates — I need consistent presence and dependable delivery.
An Honest Note Before You Apply
I'll be upfront with you: I can be hard to work with. I have high standards, I move fast, and I'm direct in how I give feedback. If a post isn't right, I'll tell you straight — no sugar-coating. I'm not interested in mediocre work or excuses, and I expect the same energy back.
That said, I'm fair, I pay on time, I reward great work, and I genuinely look after the people who deliver for me. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes feedback well, and can handle direct communication without taking it personally — we'll work brilliantly together. If you need constant praise and a soft touch, this won't be the role for you.
Compensation & Trial
• $450 per month base pay.
• Performance bonus for every piece of content that hits 10K+ views.
• 1-week paid trial before we commit long-term. This is your chance to prove yourself, and mine to make sure we're the right fit.
• Clear scope to grow — both in pay and responsibility — as the brand grows and as you prove yourself.
How to Apply
Send the following to the
"Do you have experience working with and building personal brands?"

• Your portfolio — graphic design samples and short-form video edits (links preferred).
• Any personal brands or social media accounts you've previously managed or grown (with results where possible).
