Creative Strategist (Performance Ads)
We’re looking for a highly creative and analytical Creative Strategist to help us develop winning ad concepts for paid social.
Your role will focus heavily on ad research, creative analysis, concept ideation, and iterative testing. You should be obsessed with understanding why ads work — not just making things look good.
What You’ll Do
* Research high-performing ads across Meta, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
* Use Foreplay.co to build organized swipe files and inspiration boards
* Analyze hooks, angles, structures, pacing, CTAs, and creative trends
* Identify recurring winning patterns across competitors and industries
* Turn research into fresh ad concepts and creative briefs
* Develop multiple iterations of winning concepts for ongoing testing
* Collaborate with editors, designers, media buyers, and founders to improve performance
* Continuously refine concepts based on performance data and feedback
What We’re Looking For
* Strong understanding of direct response / performance marketing
* Deep interest in ad psychology, hooks, and consumer behavior
* Experience using Foreplay, Meta Ad Library, TikTok Creative Center, or similar research tools
* Ability to break down ads structurally and explain why they work
* Skilled at conceptualizing new angles instead of copying competitors
* Fast-moving, organized, and highly proactive
* Comfortable working in a high-volume creative testing environment
Bonus Points
* Experience writing ad scripts or creative briefs
* Familiarity with DTC/eCommerce brands
* Understanding of UGC-style ads and creator workflows
* Experience working alongside paid media teams
