YouTube Video Editor & Thumbnail Creator Needed for Crypto Trading Series

I’m looking for a reliable video editor to help edit a new YouTube series focused on cryptocurrency trading, investing, and building a crypto brand.

This is a part-time position to start. The first YouTube series will run for approximately 3–4 months, with one video released per week. However, the series may continue longer depending on the progress of the series and how long it takes to accomplish the overall goal.

I also have other YouTube series/playlists that I would like to run simultaneously, so if the working relationship goes well, there is potential for more consistent weekly work beyond this first series. This can grow into a long-term position and potentially a full-time role.

The videos will be talking-head / vlog-style content. I’m not looking for basic cuts only. I need someone who understands how to make YouTube videos engaging, entertaining, and educational.

The goal is to create videos that feel clean, sharp, modern, and easy to watch with good pacing, strong storytelling, strong music selection, and simple visual elements that help keep the viewer’s attention.

You will also be responsible for creating YouTube thumbnails for the videos. You don’t need to be a professional graphic designer, but you do need to have a good eye for thumbnails that can get clicks.

You can use AI tools to create the thumbnails, but you must know how to prompt AI properly to create strong, high-quality YouTube thumbnails. I will show you examples from my YouTube live videos so you can understand the quality and style I’m looking for.

All of those thumbnails were AI-generated, so as long as you know how to use AI well to create great thumbnails, that works. Or you, yourself have the ability to create captivating thumbnails

Editing Style I Like

The videos should feel like a mix of entertainment and education. I want the edit to support what I’m saying, not distract from it.

This may include:

Clean jump cuts
Punch-ins / zoom-ins
Relevant B-roll
On-screen text
Simple motion graphics
Sound effects
Strong music selection that improves the mood, pacing, and emotion of the video
Background music that supports the story without overpowering the speaker
Charts / screenshots when needed
Retention-focused pacing
Thumbnails that are clean, bold, simple, and clickable

This is not just a one-time gig. I’m looking for someone who can grow with the brand.

The first project will be part-time, but if you do great work, this can lead to more videos, more consistent weekly work, and potentially a full-time role.

Pay

Pay will be between $30–$60 per video, depending on experience, quality, and speed.

This includes the video edit and thumbnail creation.

There is potential for more consistent work if the first few videos go well.
