I'm hiring a long-term video editor for my faceless YouTube channel focused on old-school bodybuilding, Golden Era training methods, and the hidden history of muscle building (think Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Columbu, Frank Zane era).This is a weekly recurring role for the right person. I'm not looking for one-off freelance — I'm building a long-term partnership with someone who becomes part of my channel's growth. About the Channel:

Style: Faceless / narration-driven
Tone: Dramatic, authoritative, slightly gritty — History Channel meets fitness deep-dive
Video length: 9–12 minutes
Upload schedule: 1 video per week to start (scaling to 2/week within 3 months)

What You'll Be Doing, You'll receive each week:
A finished script (1,500–2,000 words)
A professional voiceover (WAV file, dry/unprocessed)
A rough creative brief with B-roll notes and timing cues
Your job is to turn that into a finished YouTube video including:
B-roll sourcing & editing — archival footage (1970s bodybuilding), stock clips, modern gym footage, ---------- cutaways
Text overlays & animated graphics — bold dramatic text for key quotes and statistics
Sound design — strategic music cues, sound effects (dynamite, transitions, impact hits)
Pacing edits — punchy cuts that match the dramatic tone of the script
Color grading — consistent cinematic look across all videos
Light motion graphics — simple charts, comparisons, before/afters
Intro/outro consistency — maintain channel branding once established
Requirements:? Minimum 2 years of YouTube editing experience
? Portfolio with at least 3 faceless / narration-style videos (please share links)
? Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
? After Effects experience for basic motion graphics (preferred, not required)
? Strong B-roll sourcing skills (Storyblocks, Pexels, archival footage)
? Excellent English comprehension (you must understand the script's nuance)
? Reliable internet for large file transfers ( ---------- / Google Drive / Dropbox)
? Ability to deliver within 3–4 days of receiving everything
? Open to direction and revisions without ego

What I'm NOT Looking For:
? Editors who only do gaming highlights or vlogs
? Heavy use of cliché stock footage / generic transitions
? Anyone who's never edited a long-form narration video
? Freelancers juggling 10+ clients (I need someone who can prioritize my weekly turnaround)
Compensation:
$150 USD per finished video to start (paid via Wise, Cashapp, PayPal, or your preference)
Pay increases as the channel grows — I commit to revisiting rates every 10 videos based on channel performance
Guaranteed weekly work once trial is complete
Bonus structure when videos hit view milestones, subscriber milestones, like milestones, etc.
Trial Process:
Apply with portfolio + a short note on why you'd be a fit
Top 3 candidates get a paid trial edit — I'll send a 2-minute segment with VO + B-roll notes ($30 paid for the trial, regardless of outcome)
Best edit gets the full first video at standard rate
If the first video lands, we lock in a recurring weekly arrangement
