Full-Time Video Editor + Creative Ad Designer (Instagram & Meta Ads)

We’re looking for a creative, fast-paced, social-media-native Video Editor to join our growing meal prep brand, Meals By Mel.

This is not just basic editing.
We want someone who understands how to create high-converting Instagram & Facebook ads that actually make people stop scrolling.

You’ll be editing:

Instagram Reels
Meta Ads
TikTok-style videos
Promotional videos
Short-form content with motion graphics, captions, hooks, transitions, and B-roll

You’ll work directly with our team to turn raw footage into polished, engaging ads that feel modern, clean, and high energy.

???? What You’ll Be Doing
Editing 3-5 high-quality short-form videos per week
Adding:
Dynamic captions
Motion graphics
Sound effects
Transitions
Zooms/cuts
B-roll footage
Product overlays
Hooks and ad-style pacing
Following scripts and creative directions
Helping brainstorm ad concepts and visuals
Creating occasional social media graphics/posts for Instagram
Organizing project files and revisions

Have access to stock footage subscriptions
Know how to use AI-generated visuals or AI video tools
Understand what makes Meta Ads convert
Can create clean graphic design for ads/social posts
Understand fitness, food, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands
Have experience editing for brands like:
Gym/Fitness brands
Food brands
Supplements
Modern DTC companies
