Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join our remote design team. This role is responsible for developing high-quality landscape plans for residential projects in California while ensuring seamless coordination with our design group. The ideal candidate will have expertise in landscape design, site planning, and sustainability, with strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
- Design landscape plans for residential projects in California, ensuring aesthetic appeal and functionality.
- Create planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation designs, and outdoor living concepts tailored to client needs.
- Research and apply California-specific zoning, environmental, and planting regulations to design solutions.
- Develop technical drawings, site plans, and 3D renderings using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate closely with the design team, project managers, and consultants to align landscaping with overall project vision.
- Assist in concept presentations, material specifications, and design revisions based on client feedback.
- Stay informed on sustainable landscape practices, native plant selections, and water-efficient designs.
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality landscape plans.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in residential landscape design and remote collaboration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, and other landscape design tools.
- Strong understanding of California climate, planting guidelines, and sustainability principles.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working remotely with a U.S.-based team.
- Ability to manage time effectively and deliver quality work within project deadlines.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, hardscape materials, and outdoor lighting is a plus.
