JOB OVERVIEW

We’re hiring an experienced Content Marketing Specialist to support our ongoing email, newsletter, blog, and value-based content efforts within the mortgage and real estate industry.

This role is responsible for creating, designing, and building content across multiple channels, primarily email and blog, with support for social media and event content.

You’ll work across three distinct audiences:
• Loan officers (our clients and prospects)
• Realtors (and other industry insiders)
• Mortgage consumers (homebuyers and homeowners)

This is a fast-paced, execution-focused role for someone who understands how to tailor messaging by audience, write compliant-aware mortgage content, and deliver high-quality work consistently.

Core Responsibilities


Email
Newsletters & Campaigns
• Write, design, and build monthly newsletters; segmented by audience.
• Write additional emails for mortgage consumers.
• Craft compelling subject lines, preview text, and CTAs.
• Ensure content is clear, skimmable, engaging, and audience appropriate.

Blog & Long-Form Content
• Write blog-style posts monthly, typically focused on real estate and/or marketing.
• Repurpose blog content into newsletter sections or short-form educational email content.

Value-Based Content Creation
• Help create items of value for loan officers and realtors.
• Write in a helpful, non-salesy tone that positions professionals as trusted advisors.

Design & Platform Execution
• Create simple, clean email graphics (headers, banners, dividers, content tiles).
• Build and format emails directly inside our email marketing platforms using provided templates and training.
• Follow email best practices for mobile responsiveness, formatting, and readability.

Social Media and Event Support
• Assist with social media content and posting.
• Revise event marketing materials to include relevant and accurate details.

Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of content marketing or copywriting experience.
• Strong preference for experience in mortgage, real estate, housing, or financial services.
• Proven ability to write longer form content.
• Excellent command of written English (U.S. audience and tone).
• Skilled at writing for multiple audiences and adjusting voice quickly.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with recurring deadlines.
• Ability to both create content and execute it inside platforms.

Design & Tools Experience
• Proficiency with email-friendly design tools such Canva.
• Experience building emails in email marketing platforms, like Zoho.
• Familiarity with Google Docs and collaborative workflows such as Asana.

Nice to Have
• Knowledge of mortgage compliance considerations.
• Experience repurposing content across email, blog, and social.
• Prior experience creating content intended to be white-labeled or client-facing.
