Video Editor & B Roll Specialist (History Docuseries | AI Tools | Long-Form YouTube)

My name is Reece, and we're expanding our network of YouTube channels across history focused niches, using storytelling and long form videos.

We're building a portfolio of high-performing YouTube channels designed to reach millions of viewers globally, and we're looking for a Video Editor to support our Lead Editor on our main history channel and take ownership of editing on a brand new channel we're launching.

This isn't a one off project... there's long term upside as we expand into more channels.

We're combining:
- AI generated videos using Veo 3, Kling, Grok, Nano Banana, and traditional YouTube automation B-Roll
- Sound design
- Engaging clips
- AI generated imagery
- Clear, compelling voiceovers

The Opportunity:

This is not a typical editing role. You'll be responsible for turning ideas into videos that people actually watch to the end.

You'll work on content designed to:
- Hit 100K–1M+ views
- Keep viewers engaged for long durations
- Compete with fast-growing history channels

You won't just edit... You'll help shape:
- Pacing, structure, and storytelling
- The overall style we're building toward

Work Process:

This is a split role across two channels - 40 hours per week total.

20 hours/week: Supporting our Lead Editor on the main history channel:
- Source relevant B-Roll (films, interviews, public footage)
- Create AI generated images using Nano Banana
- Generate high quality image-to-video scenes using Grok
- Share polished clips with the Lead Editor, who will stitch everything together and own the final edit
- Work closely with the Lead Editor to match the channel's style and pacing

20 hours/week: Lead Editor on our new history channel:
- Use our proprietary methods to source clips and B Roll
- Edit and stitch together 4 full videos per week
- Own the editing process end to end on this channel
- Maintain strong pacing and storytelling throughout

Position Details:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday)
- Split: 20 hours supporting the main channel + 20 hours editing the new channel (4 videos/week)
- Monthly Salary: $300–$400 USD + incentive bonuses
- Regular performance-based pay reviews

Ideal Candidate Has:
- Passion for YouTube and storytelling
- Experience editing clip-based or commentary-style videos
- Good sense of pacing and retention
- Experience with AI tools like Nano Banana and Grok
- Strong communication and reliability
- Ability to follow structure and deliver consistently
