About this role: We are an Australian-based bridal lifestyle business operating two connected brands — an editorial bridal media platform and a luxury bridal product brand. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented VA to manage all content scheduling and publishing across both brands. Full brand details are shared after initial screening and a signed confidentiality agreement.
About the Brands
We operate two connected Australian brands in the bridal lifestyle space:
Brand 1 — An editorial bridal media platform publishing articles across five content categories. Think high-end bridal magazine in digital format. Content covers styling, planning, venues, and honeymoon destinations.
Brand 2 — A luxury Australian bridal product brand with its own Instagram,
Both brands share a consistent visual aesthetic — soft, editorial, cinematic, and minimal. Everything you post must feel like it belongs to that world. Neither brand name is disclosed until after initial screening.
The Role — What You Will Do
This is a fortnightly batch role. Every two weeks you receive a complete content package containing everything pre-made and pre-written — article drafts, images, pin graphics, captions, and a scheduling calendar. You schedule and publish everything across all platforms according to the brief. No creative decisions are required from you.
Your job in one sentence: Receive the fortnightly content package, match everything to the correct article and week, format and upload articles to WordPress for founder approval, and schedule all pins and social posts across Pinterest, Instagram, and
Fortnightly tasks in full:
VA hours — per fortnight (7-9 hours total):
• WordPress formatting and upload (4-6 articles) — 2-3 hours
• Brand 1Pinterest pin scheduling (20-30 pins) — 3-4 hours
• Brand 2 Pinterest pin scheduling (4-6 pins) — 30-45 mins
• Brand 2 Instagram and
• Completion report with screenshots — 20-30 mins
Total VA hours per fortnight: 7-9 hours (3.5-4.5 hours per week averaged)
What You Receive Each Fortnight
Everything arrives in a shared Google Drive folder organised by week and article:
All article drafts — edited and approved, ready for WordPress formatting
All Pinterest pin graphics — pre-made, exported, and labelled by article and week
All pin descriptions — written and ready to copy-paste
All Brand 2 Instagram and
All captions — written and ready to copy-paste for every platform
A scheduling calendar showing exactly which content publishes on which date
IMPORTANT: You never write captions, choose images, make strategy decisions, or create graphics. All creative and strategic work is done before the package reaches you. Your role is accurate, timely execution from a detailed brief — every fortnight, without exception.
Skills Required
WordPress — comfortable formatting posts, uploading images, filling SEO meta fields, and working with a plugin like RankMath. Previous WordPress editing experience is essential.
Pinterest Business — understands board structure, pin scheduling, and how to distribute pins across multiple boards correctly without triggering duplicate content flags.
Meta Business Suite — can schedule posts to Instagram and
Attention to detail — the most important skill in this role. You follow a brief exactly, every time, without shortcuts or assumptions.
Reliable and consistent — the fortnightly deadline does not move. Completion reports are expected within 72 hours of receiving the package.
Strong written English — you are copy-pasting provided captions but must read accurately and spot formatting issues before submitting.
Discretion — you will be working with confidential brand materials. A signed NDA is required before onboarding.
Preferred but not essential:
Experience with lifestyle, bridal, fashion, or travel content brands
Familiarity with editorial or magazine-style content aesthetics
Experience with Pinterest scheduling
Canva experience for minor template adjustments
Rate & Structure
Rate: USD $70 per fortnight on a fixed retainer.
Hours: Approximately 7–9 hours per fortnight (14–18 hours per month). Flexible — you choose when within the 3–4 day completion window to do the work.
Structure: Fortnightly batch. You receive the content package, complete all tasks within 3–4 days, submit your completion report with screenshots. Payment is fortnightly after successful completion of the scheduled tasks.

Long-term: This is an ongoing role with a growing brand. We are looking for someone who wants a reliable long-term working relationship, not a one-off project.
What Success Looks Like
Every article is correctly formatted in WordPress and set to Pending Review within 48 hours of receiving the package

Zero errors requiring the founder to fix before approving content
How to Apply
Please include all three of the following in your application.
1. Short introduction covering:
Your experience with WordPress, Pinterest Business, and Meta Business Suite — be specific about what you have done on each platform
Any lifestyle, bridal, fashion, travel, or editorial brands you have worked with
Why a fortnightly batch role suits you and how you manage deadlines
2. Portfolio — at least two examples from:
Screenshots of Pinterest boards or scheduled pins you have managed
Screenshots of WordPress posts you have formatted and published
Examples of Instagram or
3. Complete this short test task:
This takes approximately 15 minutes. Answer all three questions in your application.
You have been given a Pinterest pin image about choosing a wedding veil for a ballgown dress, and the following description to post:
"Choosing a veil for a ballgown dress comes down to one decision — length or drama, rarely both. A cathedral veil balances the volume of a full skirt without competing with it. Read the full guide on our editorial platform."
Question 1: You have four boards available: (a) Wedding Veils, (b) Honeymoon Destinations, (c) Wedding Planning Essentials, (d) Bridal Style Inspiration. Which board would you save this pin to first, and which board — if any — would you save it to second? Explain your reasoning.
Question 2: If you saved this pin to two boards, would you do both on the same day? Why or why not?
Question 3: Before you set a WordPress article to Pending Review and submit your completion report, what are the three things you would check to make sure the article is correctly formatted?
There are no trick questions. We are looking for someone who reads instructions carefully and thinks before acting.
Brand names and full role details are shared only with shortlisted candidates after a brief screening call and a signed confidentiality agreement. We take the privacy of our brands seriously and expect the same from anyone we work with.
I am keen to see applicants who actually read the brief with a response that is not generated by chat GPT.
