Accountant / Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online | Insurance Agency Accounting Support)

We are looking fora full-time accounting professional to support a US-based accounting outsourcing company serving insurance agencies.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong accounting foundation who can confidently review financial data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate bookkeeping operations.

Requirements

• MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• MUST have at least 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• MUST have hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online
• MUST understand accounting fundamentals and financial statement analysis
• MUST be able to identify inaccuracies or unusual activity within financial reports
• MUST have strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• MUST have clear and professional English communication skills
• MUST be willing to work full-time with no other commitments
• MUST have own laptop/desktop with reliable internet connection

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records
• Review and reconcile financial transactions and reports
• Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies or concerns
• Support insurance agency clients with accounting-related tasks
• Work within QuickBooks Online for daily accounting operations
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and financial organization

• Strong understanding of accounting mechanics and workflows
• Comfortable reviewing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and reconciliations
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
