Part-Time Finance Controller (UK Companies)

We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Part-Time Finance Controller to assist with the accounting and financial analysis of several UK businesses.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with UK company accounts and be comfortable undertaking detailed forensic analysis of historic company transactions.

### Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and generate UK company accounts
- Review and analyse historic financial transactions
- Undertake forensic accounting and transaction tracing
- Reconcile company accounts and identify discrepancies
- Assist with financial reporting and bookkeeping oversight
- Support management with financial analysis and problem solving

### Requirements
- Strong experience with UK accounting standards and UK companies
- Experience preparing statutory accounts
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting systems
- Ability to investigate and analyse historic transactions in detail
- High attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Good written and spoken English
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or similar software preferred
