JOB OVERVIEW

ROLE
Hi, I’m Zebbi from E-Factory Group srl.
We’re looking for a FULL-TIME VIDEO EDITOR to help us create direct-response ads, UGC-style videos, VSLs, and AI-assisted creatives. We’re a small Italian team of 6 people, all between 22 and 27 years old, selling different products across multiple markets, mainly in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
We’re scaling our creative production, so we’re looking for someone who can grow into a long-term, full-time role with us. You’ll communicate mainly with me and my colleague Robert.

WHAT WE NEED
We need someone who can edit videos that are not just clean, but made to sell.
You should be good at choosing clips and b-rolls that match the copy, understanding the script before editing, strong pacing, clean subtitles, sound effects/music, UGC-style editing, direct-response ads, following detailed instructions, and making smart creative decisions without needing constant hand-holding.
AI is becoming a bigger part of our creative process, so this is important. Please be honest about your AI experience. If you say you’re confident with AI tools but you’re not, we’ll notice very quickly during the trial.

WORKLOAD & GROWTH
We’re currently scaling, so we need someone who can handle volume, move fast, and work consistently.
We’re looking for a long-term collaboration, with the possibility to grow into a stable full-time role for the right person.
We also have performance-based bonus opportunities for editors who consistently deliver strong work.

APPLICATION QUESTIONS
Answer all these questions directly in your application message:
1) Which AI tools have you already worked with? Be specific and honest.
2) How confident are you with AI creative workflows? For example: generating clips, images, b-rolls, voiceovers, ad variations, or recreating visual ideas with AI.
3) What kind of ads have you edited the most? UGC, VSLs, direct-response ads, brand ads, TikTok ads, Meta ads, or something else?
4) How fast can you usually deliver a 60–90 second UGC-style ad if the brief is clear?
5) How fast can you usually deliver a 5–7 minute VSL if the brief is clear?
6) Send direct links to the 3–5 best ads you’ve edited (Also include videos that have quite a few AI-generated clips, if you have any).

BEST WORK INSTRUCTIONS
Do not send a general portfolio link. I won’t watch a full portfolio because many editors apply and I can’t spend all day looking through random videos.
Send direct links to the 3–5 videos that you personally think are your best and most relevant work. Ideally, send examples of ads, UGC-style videos, VSLs, direct-response creatives, AI-assisted creatives, or similar work.

TRIAL TASKS
Before applying, please read the trial task instructions. There are 2 unpaid trial tasks required for this application.
These trial tasks are unpaid because we need to evaluate how you think, how well you follow instructions, how fast you work, how well your clips match the copy, and whether your editing style fits our creative process before starting a paid collaboration.

-Trial Task #1 — B-Roll UGC Personal Story Ad:
You’ll create a UGC-style personal story ad using only b-rolls, based on the script and example ad in the brief. No talking head. The goal is to communicate the message clearly, convey the right emotions, and build a believable story through strong clip selection, pacing, subtitles, music, and sound design. AI can be used when needed, but it is not the main focus of this task.

-Trial Task #2 — AI B-Roll Direct Response Ad:
You’ll create a b-roll-only ad for a washing machine cleaning product. You must watch the example ad carefully and recreate a similar editing style, pacing, and visual logic using the script in the brief. The goal is to show us that you can create realistic AI clips, match them tightly to the copy, and use your creativity to build a believable ad without making it look AI-generated.

TRIAL UPLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
After completing the tasks, upload both videos to this Drive folder:

This is very important. Several editors will complete the application, so if your files are not named correctly with your full name, your videos may get lost and we may not review them.
After uploading the videos, send us the links to both uploaded videos and how much total time you spent editing each task. We’ll keep in mind that part of the time may be spent getting familiar with the briefs, the Drive folder, and the available clips, so be honest.

WHAT WE’LL EVALUATE
We’ll mainly look at how well your clips match the copy, editing quality, pacing, ability to follow instructions, speed of execution, creative decisions, understanding of direct-response ads, and ability to work with AI or AI-style creative references.
If needed, we may ask for revisions. If the work is strong, we’ll move forward with paid projects.

WHO THIS IS FOR
This is for you if you’re hungry, fast, reliable, comfortable with AI tools or AI creative workflows, able to follow instructions carefully, and interested in a long-term opportunity with room to grow.
This is not for you if you only want random editing gigs, need every small thing explained, don’t understand marketing, or don’t use AI tools at all.
