JOB OVERVIEW

I am a Facebook ads freelancer managing multiple client ad accounts.

I am looking for a part-time virtual assistant to help with Facebook Ads Manager support, weekly campaign update documents, and campaign-related admin tasks.

The main focus of this role is Facebook Ads Manager support.

This is not a strategist role. I will d ---------- what changes need to be made in the ad accounts. Your job is to understand the Facebook Ads Manager platform well enough to follow my instructions accurately, organize information clearly, prepare client update documents, and help execute tasks based on my direction.

You do not need to d ---------- what to do strategically. But you do need to understand the Facebook ads platform well enough to know where things are, how campaigns/ad sets/ads are structured, how to read basic performance data, and how to follow detailed instructions without getting lost.

1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITY: WEEKLY FACEBOOK CAMPAIGN UPDATES

Every week, I will record Loom videos walking through each client ad account and explaining:

- What happened in the ad account that week
- What the important performance data is
- What I want to communicate to the client
- What campaign/ad set/ad changes need to be made
- What I want done next

Your job will be to watch those Loom videos and turn them into organized work.

This includes:

- Creating weekly campaign update documents for clients
- Pulling relevant data from notes or reports
- Writing short client message/email drafts for me to send
- Creating internal task checklists from my instructions
- Helping organize campaign update folders and documents
- Making campaign updates inside Ads Manager when I have clearly instructed what to do

Examples of data you may need to organize:

- Ad spend
- ROAS
- Purchases/leads
- CPA
- CTR
- CPM
- CPC
- Frequency
- Top-performing campaigns
- Low-performing campaigns

Again, the strategy comes fro ---------- . The execution, organization, documentation, and follow-through are where I need help.

2. REQUIRED WEEKLY AVAILABILITY

The most important work happens on:

- Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday

These days are required because campaign updates are prepared and completed around the end of the week in the Central US time zone.

The rest of the tasks can be completed more flexibly throughout the week. You can do those all at once or spread them out across different days.

3. FACEBOOK ADS MANAGER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

You should be very comfortable with Facebook Ads Manager.

You should understand:

- Campaigns, ad sets, and ads
- How to navigate inside an ad account
- Where to find spend, purchases/leads, ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPM, CPC, frequency, etc.
- How to look at date ranges
- How to understand basic campaign/ad set/ad performance tables
- How to follow instructions inside a live ad account
- How to be careful with client accounts

Example tasks may include:

- Turning off an ad set
- Duplicating an ad
- Changing a budget
- Checking comments
- Finding a campaign
- Reviewing performance
- Pulling simple performance numbers
- Confirming that a change was made correctly

You do not need to be an expert media buyer. But you do need to know the platform well enough that I am not teaching you where everything is from scratch.

4. FACEBOOK ACCOUNT HISTORY REQUIREMENT

Because this role may eventually involve working inside live client Facebook ad accounts, you must have a clean and trustworthy Facebook account history.

This means:

- Your Facebook profile should not be brand new
- Your current profile should not be a replacement profile because your old one was banned
- You should not have a history of getting Facebook profiles restricted or disabled
- You should not have a history of getting Business Managers shut down
- You should not be using questionable or fake Facebook accounts
- You should be comfortable being added to Business Managers or ad accounts in a professional and compliant way

If you have had a Facebook account, Business Manager, or ad account restricted in the past, please explain the situation honestly in your application.

I understand that Facebook can sometimes restrict accounts unfairly, but I need to be careful because this role involves client ad accounts.

5. SECONDARY TASKS: MORE HOURS AVAILABLE

The campaign update work is the main role.

However, there may be opportunities for more weekly hours if you are good at other support tasks.

Experience in these areas is a plus:

A. CONTENT CREATION SUPPORT

I may ask you to help create first drafts of:

- Articles
- Posts
- Blog-style content
- Email campaigns
- Short form video scripts
- Social media captions
- Content outlines

This would usually come from my ideas, Loom videos, rough notes, or examples.

I am especially interested in someone who can use Claude well.

That does not mean copying and pasting the first answer Claude gives you. I want someone who can use AI as leverage, ask for multiple options, compare ideas, recognize which direction is strongest, improve the draft, and make the final version sound more useful and natural.

B. CLIENT AND FILE ORGANIZATION

You may help organize client information in Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Sheets.

This may include:

- Ad account links
- Main client folder links
- Campaign update document folders
- Notes on how each client communicates
- Examples of previous client communication
- Weekly campaign update records
- Client call notes or transcripts

C. SALES CALL AND RECORDING ORGANIZATION

You may help organize recorded calls by:

- Downloading call recordings
- Renaming files
- Saving recordings into the correct Google Drive folders
- Organizing transcripts
- Adding transcripts into Claude projects or client folders
- Creating simple summaries of calls

D. FUNNEL AND PAGE CHECKING

You may help check important pages, links, buttons, and forms to make sure they work correctly.

This would include simple checks like:

- Making sure apply buttons open correctly
- Making sure lead magnet pages load correctly
- Making sure links are not broken
- Reporting anything that looks wrong

You would not be expected to fix website issues. Just check, document, and report.

6. TOOLS YOU SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE WITH

Required or strongly preferred:

- Facebook Ads Manager
- Google Docs
- Google Drive
- Google Sheets
- Loom
- Claude

Helpful but not required:

- Basic familiarity with video scripts
- Basic content writing
- Basic email writing
- Basic file organization systems
- Basic call transcript organization

7. WHO THIS ROLE IS BEST FOR

This role is best for someone who:

- Knows Facebook Ads Manager very well
- Has a clean and trustworthy Facebook account history
- Can follow detailed instructions inside ad accounts carefully
- Understands campaign/ad set/ad structure
- Can read basic performance data without being confused
- Is organized and detail-oriented
- Can turn Loom videos into clean notes, documents, and task lists
- Writes clear English
- Can create client-friendly update drafts
- Is reliable on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in Central US time zone
- Can work independently once an SOP is clear
- Is careful with live client accounts
- Knows how to use Claude thoughtfully, not lazily

8. WHO THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR

This role is not for someone who:

- Has never worked inside Facebook Ads Manager
- Needs to be taught the basics of campaigns, ad sets, and ads
- Has a brand new Facebook profile because an old one was banned
- Has a history of getting Facebook profiles, Business Managers, or ad accounts restricted
- Uses fake, risky, or questionable Facebook accounts
- Wants to make strategy decisions on their own
- Rushes through tasks without checking details
- Writes generic AI-sounding drafts
- Misses deadlines
- Is unavailable on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays
- Cannot follow Loom instructions carefully
- Is careless inside live ad accounts
