ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re a US-based wholesale closeout and liquidation company. We’re hiring an experienced inside sales rep to own our introductory sales calls and deal flow. Our lead specialist sources and qualifies buyers; you take qualified prospects, run the intro call, build trust, and hand them to the owner warm and ready for negotiation.
This is a brand-new seat, so your calendar won’t be full on day one. While we ramp it up, you’ll work alongside our lead specialist on prospecting and outreach — they’ll train you on that side. But to be clear: we are hiring you for your sales ability. Lead gen is what you’ll help with during downtime; closing-quality conversations are the job.
This is not a generic VA role. It’s a real sales seat with a clear path and strong upside for someone who can perform.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Run introductory video/phone calls with pre-qualified buyers
• Confidently handle skepticism about supply chain and sourcing without overpromising
• Distribute deal sheets to qualified buyers as inventory becomes available
• Maintain clean prospect records and write accurate handoff notes for the owner
• Set the owner up to negotiate and close — you do NOT negotiate price or close yourself
• During ramp-up: assist the lead specialist with outreach and qualification (training provided)
WHO YOU ARE (REQUIRED)
• Experience in US-account phone sales — inside sales, SDR/closing, or high-tier retention/collections
• Excellent spoken English: clear, neutral, and easily understood by US buyers — confident and composed under pressure (verified by recording and live test)
• Stays calm and persuasive when challenged or interrupted — does not fold
• Comfortable on camera
• Reliable US-hours overlap, stable internet, quiet environment, quality headset
• Knows when to stop selling and hand off — disciplined, not a freelancer who improvises
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience selling physical goods, wholesale, B2B, or in liquidation/closeout
• CRM familiarity
HOW TO APPLY — READ CAREFULLY (applications that skip any step are deleted)
1. Answer this in writing:
A prospect tells you: “Honestly, every liquidation seller I’ve dealt with has burned me on what’s actually in the lots. Why should I trust you?” Write your response to them in 4–6 sentences.
2. Record a short video introduction (REQUIRED).
Record yourself on camera, 60–90 seconds, speaking naturally — not reading a script. Cover:
• Your name and where you’re based
• Your US sales experience — what you sold, to whom, for how long
• One example of a deal or tough customer you turned around
• Then answer this on the spot, unscripted: “Why should a skeptical buyer trust a liquidation seller they’ve never met?”

3. Also include: your years of US sales experience, what you sold, and your timezone availability for US-hours calls.
Strong candidates will be invited to a live roleplay where you’ll handle a skeptical buyer in real time.
