Community Manager & Webinar Host Virtual Assistant (VA)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, engaging, and tech-savvy Community Manager & Webinar Host VA to support our growing digital brand and online community. This role is responsible for managing audience engagement, hosting and moderating webinars, supporting online events, and helping cultivate meaningful relationships within our ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with audiences across multiple platforms. This person should be passionate about helping businesses, entrepreneurs, and communities grow through digital engagement and education.

Key Responsibilities
Community Management
Manage and engage with online communities across platforms such as Facebook Groups, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Circle, Kajabi, Mighty Networks, or Slack
Respond to comments, messages, and community questions in a timely and professional manner
Foster engagement through conversations, polls, discussions, and community initiatives
Welcome new members and guide onboarding experiences
Monitor community activity and maintain a positive, professional environment
Track engagement metrics and provide weekly reports and insights
Coordinate content scheduling and community announcements
Webinar Hosting & Event Support
Host and moderate live webinars, workshops, trainings, and virtual events
Introduce speakers and facilitate audience interaction during sessions
Manage webinar platforms such as Zoom, StreamYard, WebinarJam, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams
Coordinate webinar registrations, reminders, follow-ups, and attendee communications
Monitor chat, Q&A, and technical support during live events
Assist with presentation setup, slide management, and event flow
Repurpose webinar content into clips, summaries, blogs, or social media posts
Administrative & Marketing Support
Assist with email campaigns and webinar promotions
Help organize digital assets, attendee lists, and CRM systems
Support lead nurturing and customer relationship management
Coordinate calendars and scheduling for virtual events
Assist with analytics, reporting, and audience growth strategies
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Community Manager, Webinar Host, Virtual Assistant, or Online Engagement Specialist
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable speaking live and engaging virtual audiences
Familiarity with webinar and community platforms
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Professional, dependable, and proactive attitude
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Customer service and relationship-building skills
Preferred Skills
Social media management experience
Basic graphic design skills (Canva preferred)
