Podcast editor and clipper

Job Title: Podcast Editor & Short-Form Clip Creator
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Podcast Editor and Clipper to help edit full podcast episodes and create engaging short-form clips for social media.
This role is perfect for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, social media trends, and how to turn longer conversations into attention-grabbing clips for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Responsibilities:
Edit full podcast episodes for audio and/or video, including cleaning up sound, removing long pauses, improving flow, and making the episode feel polished.
Create short-form clips from podcast episodes that highlight the funniest, most interesting, emotional, or viral-worthy ---------- nts.
Add captions/subtitles to clips in a clean, engaging style.
Format clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
Add basic graphics, titles, sound effects, zooms, and cuts when needed to make clips more engaging.
Choose strong hooks for clips to help increase views and engagement.
Organize edited files and deliver final assets on time.
Requirements:
Experience editing podcasts, YouTube videos, interviews, or social media content.
Strong understanding of short-form content and what performs well on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Descript, or similar tools.
Ability to add clean captions and format videos for vertical social media.
Good eye for pacing, storytelling, and viral ---------- nts.
Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience editing lifestyle, dating, pop culture, comedy, or interview-style podcasts.
Basic graphic design skills.
Knowledge of social media trends and viral editing styles.
Experience creating clips with strong hooks and captions.
Work Details:
