Fully remote and morning shift + weekends off
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Executive Assistant to support the Country Head and Finance Head in accounting, finance, and executive administration functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience managing executive schedules and communications, and a solid understanding of Australian financial documents, including Profit & Loss statements and other financial reports.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance Support
Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
Prepare invoices, expense reports, purchase orders, and payment documentation
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Reconcile bank statements and support accounts payable/receivable processes
Assist in payroll coordination and finance documentation
Prepare and support monthly financial reports and management reporting
Review and understand Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and other Australian financial documents
Support audit preparation and compliance documentation
Coordinate with external accountants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Executive Assistance
Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the Country Head and Finance Head
Handle
Prepare meeting agendas, reports, presentations, and minutes
Track action items and follow up on key deliverables
Maintain confidentiality of financial and executive information
Support day-to-day administrative and operational activities
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance support, or executive assistance
Strong understanding of Australian financial statements and reporting standards
Ability to read and interpret Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and financial documents
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting senior leadership or finance executives
Familiarity with Australian payroll, GST, and compliance processes is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
