Part-Time Video Creator & Music Researcher – Groovy Duke & The Soul Paws

We are looking for a creative and dependable Video Creator/Editor to help bring our animated brand, Groovy Duke & The Soul Paws, to life through engaging short-form videos inspired by classic Old School Soul and R&B vibes.

This is a part-time remote position that can grow into a full-time long-term opportunity for the right person.

About the Brand

Groovy Duke is a fun, soulful animated character inspired by classic soul music, smooth vibes, positive energy, and nostalgic old-school culture. We want content that feels timeless, entertaining, and shareable for audiences on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Responsibilities
Create short animated or motion-style videos featuring Groovy Duke
Research classic Old School Soul and R&B music styles, culture, fashion, and vibes
Develop catchy video concepts and story ideas
Add music, transitions, effects, captions, and engaging edits
Create videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
Work with provided character images, branding, and concepts
Suggest creative ideas that can help grow the brand organically
What We’re Looking For
Experience with video editing and AI video tools
Creative storytelling skills
Understanding of Old School Soul/R&B culture and music vibes
Ability to create fun, engaging, emotional, or humorous content
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience with tools such as:
CapCut
Canva
Adobe Premiere Pro
After Effects
Runway
Kling
Pika
ChatGPT or AI content tools
Suno or AI music tools (a plus)
Bonus Skills
