Social Media Manager (Instagram & TikTok) for Ace & Taylor

About Us
Ace & Taylor is a fast-growing D2C e-commerce brand selling premium hair tools across Europe. We focus on high-performing short-form video content and daily organic posting on Instagram and TikTok to grow brand awareness, trust, and sales.

We are currently active in The Netherlands and Belgium and expanding across Europe.

What You’ll Do (Your Core Responsibility)
You will fully own our organic social media presence on Instagram and TikTok.
This means you are responsible for planning, posting, captions, stories, community management (DMs & comments), and daily execution.

This is NOT just scheduling content.
We are looking for someone who can run our social media channels independently and consistently.

Your Weekly Tasks
- Post 1–2 times per day on Instagram & TikTok
- Create strong captions & CTAs (engaging, on-brand, conversion-focused)
- Post daily stories (product usage, UGC, behind the scenes, promos)
- Reply to DMs & comments within 24 hours
- Plan and manage the content calendar
- Repurpose existing videos into social posts
- Coordinate with video editors & creative team
- Track basic performance (views, engagement) and report weekly

We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has proven experience managing Instagram & TikTok for brands
- Understands short-form content and social media trends
- Can work independently without daily hand-holding
- Is proactive: asks questions if something is unclear
- Is highly organized and consistent with daily posting
- Understands brand tone and can adapt copy per platform

We post daily. This role requires consistency and ownership.
If you:
- Miss posting deadlines
- Are inconsistent
- Don’t reply to DMs/comments on time
- Don’t ask questions when confused
- Or treat this as “just scheduling posts”

This will clearly not be a fit.

Paid Test Task (Mandatory)
Before we hire you, we will ask you to complete a paid test task:
- Create a 7-day content plan
- Write captions for 5 posts
- Propose story ideas
This helps both sides see if we’re a good match.
