To Apply, Please Submit:
Your resume or CV
Two writing samples — ideally short-form or social media content; health-related preferred but not required
A short video introduction (2–3 minutes) telling us about yourself, your communication style, and why you are interested in health media
A brief writing test: Write a 90-second video script on any current health topic of your choice, as if presenting it for a social media audience. Include a hook, key information, and a call to action.
A short paragraph describing how you would approach reaching out to a physician or medical expert to invite them to be a guest on a podcast they have never heard of
That last application question — asking how they would approach cold outreach to a physician — is particularly valuable. It reveals communication instincts, professionalism, and whether they understand the nuance of reaching out to busy medical professionals. Pay close attention to those answers during your review process.
