Restaurant Accountant / Bookkeeper (QuickBooks + Clover POS)

Long-Term Position | Boca Raton, Florida (USA Restaurant)

We are a restaurant based in Boca Raton, Florida looking for a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to take full ownership of our financials.

This is not just a data entry role. We are looking for someone who can fix, manage, and improve our books, and help us understand the financial health of the business.

> Your Responsibilities
-Clean up and maintain accurate books using QuickBooks Online
-Reconcile sales and transactions from Clover POS
-Manage Accounts Payable (bills, vendors) and Accounts Receivable
-Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
-Run payroll
-File sales tax and monthly tax reports (U.S.)
-Prepare biweekly and monthly reports, including:
-Profit & Loss
-Cash Flow
-Expense breakdowns
-Analyze costs and identify where we can save money and improve margins
-Assist with inventory tracking and restocking coordination with the chef
-Ensure all financial data is accurate, up-to-date, and organized

-Strong experience as a bookkeeper/accountant (restaurant experience preferred)
-Expert in QuickBooks Online (certification required or equivalent experience)
-Experience with POS systems (Clover preferred)
-Understanding of U.S. accounting and sales tax
-Highly organized and detail-oriented
-Able to work independently without constant supervision
-Strong English communication skills
-Stable internet and reliable work setup

>Flexible schedule, but must overlap a few occasional hours with U.S. time

Starting Salary is 6$/hour with flexibility to increase within the month if experience and quality of work is proven
