YouTube Shorts Editor

I am building a fast-growing neuroscience and psychology channel, and we're looking for a Youtube Shorts editor who can help us scale. You're a master of the hook — you know that the first 1.5 seconds d ---------- everything — and your cuts are sharp, propulsive, and rhythmically tight. You understand pacing, retention curves, and how to make a viewer's thumb stop mid-scroll. You've done this before: at least a few of your Shorts have crossed the tens or hundreds of thousands of views, and you can show us the work. Bonus points if you have a point of view on titles, thumbnails, and trends, and if you genuinely enjoy science, psychology, or self-improvement content. This is a recurring role with room to grow as the channel grows.
