Draftsman (SketchUp & LayOut)

Job Overview:
I am looking to expand my team by hiring a draftsperson who will model client projects in SketchUp and produce construction documents in LayOut. You will work closely with me to create models, technical drawings, and project renderings. If you are already familiar with LayOut, that’s a plus, but I am willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
Build accurate SketchUp models for space planning, furniture layouts, and material testing
Produce detailed 2D drawings and construction documents in LayOut
Prepare floor plans, site plans, elevations, and technical details
Collaborate on design projects and communicate progress regularly
Produce project renderings

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in SketchUp
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred (but not required):
Experience with LayOut for drafting
Familiarity with ClickUp
Interior design or rendering experience.
Experience with wood-frame construction.
