ABOUT BUILD UP FLOW
Build Up Flow (BUF) is an Australian growth agency working with trades, construction, and design businesses. Right now we're focused on the AU market — as we grow, we're expanding into the US and other English-speaking markets.
We're not a one-service vendor — we're an integrated growth partner running paid ads, recruitment, and systems for clients who care about pipeline, not impressions.

THE ROLE
You'll own everything Google for BUF clients: Google Ads, SEO, and the websites the SEO actually lives on. Most of our clients need a proper foundation built — site + keywords + technical SEO + Search/PMax campaigns — then ongoing optimisation.
We don't want a traditional web developer. We want someone who uses AI to build sites fast and well — Lovable, v0, Bolt, Claude, GHL's AI builder, WordPress + AI plugins, whatever tool fits the job. If AI can build it in a day, that's the move. Your value is in knowing what to build, wiring SEO into the structure, and making it look and convert like a professional did it — not in writing custom code.
You'll use AI heavily across everything: keyword research, content briefs, on-page optimisation, schema, site builds, ad copy. We don't care which tools you use — we care that the output is sharp and the work moves fast.
This is a part-time role starting at around 10 hours/week across our current client load. We add new clients regularly, and your hours, pay, and account load grow with us. We want someone who treats BUF like their own agency, not a side gig.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and manage Google Ads campaigns — Search, Performance Max, Display, retargeting
- Full-stack SEO: keyword research, on-page, technical, content briefs, internal linking, schema
- Use AI to build and iterate on client websites fast (Lovable, v0, GHL AI builder, WordPress + AI, or whatever fits) — SEO baked in from the structure up, not bolted on
- Use AI daily across keyword research, content generation, site copy, and on-page optimisation
- Map keyword clusters to site architecture and content plans
- Set up tracking properly — GA4, GTM, conversion tracking, call tracking
- Document your process and updates in Notion (our whole knowledge base lives there)
- Weekly reporting on Google Ads performance and SEO movement with a clear point of view
- Communicate directly with the BUF team via Slack / Loom / call
MUST-HAVES
- 3+ years managing Google Ads (Search + PMax minimum)
- Strong SEO knowledge — technical, on-page, and content
- Proven track record managing AU, US, or UK client accounts
- Proven ability to build professional websites using AI tools — show us sites you've shipped using Lovable, v0, Bolt, GHL, WordPress + AI, or similar
- Strong taste — you can spot AI-slop and produce output that looks like a designer built it
- GoHighLevel — comfortable building sites and funnels inside it
- Notion — comfortable working inside it daily for SOPs, tracking, and documentation
- AI tools — Claude (web + Projects), Claude Code, ChatGPT used daily for real work, not novelty
- Strong English written communication
- Reliable internet + ability to overlap with Australian business hours (AEST)
- You can read a dashboard and form an opinion, not just describe what you see
BONUS
- Experience with trades, home services, solar, or construction clients
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation experience
- Familiar with n8n or other automation tools
- Familiar with multiple AI site builders and knows when to use which
- Has built or contributed to a GHL website template/snapshot
- Good English speaking skills
