JOB OVERVIEW

Company: WorldClass Creative
Location: Remote (Philippines preferred)
Type: Full-time contractor
Pay: Base + performance bonuses (details below)

About This Role
WorldClass Creative produces cinematic listing content for the $1M–$10M+ South Florida luxury real estate market. We work with high-end agents and developers in Palm Beach County, shooting properties that range from waterfront estates to new-construction residences.

We're hiring editors for our post-production division. You will edit raw drone, interior, and exterior footage into polished listing reels and cinematic videos. You won't be shooting. You won't be managing clients. You'll edit, and you'll get good at our style fast.

This is a long-term position. We're building a team, and the editors who prove themselves early will have first access to higher-tier projects and creative direction work as we grow.

The Work:
You'll produce two types of deliverables from raw 4K footage we provide:

- Listing Reels (Vertical / 9:16)
- 60–90 second social-format reels for Instagram. Shot selection, music, color grade, pacing. These are the bread and butter.
- You'll edit 2–3 of these per day once you're ramped.
- Cinematic Horizontal Videos (16:9)
- 2–4 minute listing walkthroughs. Slower pace, more room to breathe. These take longer per piece but the footage is usually stronger.

Typical daily output after your first two weeks: 2–3 completed videos. We provide the footage, music library, LUTs, and templates. You bring the edit instincts and the speed.

Requirements:
Final Cut Pro 11+ — this is non-negotiable. Our template library, LUT workflow, and project structure are built around FCP. If you edit in Premiere and want to switch, that's fine, but you need to be comfortable in FCP before your first project.

1–3 years editing real estate or architectural video. Wedding, travel, and corporate reels don't count. We need someone who already knows how luxury property footage should move, breathe, and cut. If your portfolio doesn't have at least 3 real estate edits, this isn't the right fit.

Strong color grading instincts. You know the difference between warm-and-inviting interiors and orange-tinted mistakes. You can match shots across rooms without everything looking like the same filter. You grade for accuracy first, mood second.
A computer that handles 4K without choking. No proxy-only workflows. You need to be able to scrub through 4K drone footage and interior clips without lag. If your machine can't do that, this role will frustrate you.

Reliable internet and a quiet workspace. We communicate async through Frame.io and messaging. You need to upload finished exports (150–250MB files) without it taking all day.

Available 9AM–1PM Eastern (US) for overlap. The rest of your hours are flexible. But during that 4-hour window, you respond to messages and feedback within 30 minutes.

What You Don't Need:
You don't need to talk to clients. David handles all client communication.
You don't need to own a camera or any recording equipment.

Compensation:
Guaranteed base: $1,400 USD/month
Volume bonuses (stack on top of base):

Videos 9–20/month: +$25 per video
Videos 21–35/month: +$30 per video
Videos 36+/month: +$35 per video

Quality bonus: $100–$200/month

We score every edit on a 100-point quality scorecard. Average score of 85+ earns $100/month. Score of 92+ earns $200/month.

What this looks like in practice:

Learning - 20 videos/month (ramp period) ~$1,675
Consistent 85+ - 35 videos/month - ~$2,275
Scoring 90+ - 45 videos/month - ~ $2,950
Scoring 92+ - 55 videos/month - ~$3,550

Your earnings scale directly with your speed and quality. Editors who produce more and score higher make more. No cap on volume bonuses.

Payment: bi-weekly via Gusto

Our Standards:
We edit luxury real estate. The audience is buyers considering a $3M home purchase. Every frame matters.

How We Work:
Frame.io for project delivery and review. You upload exports, David leaves timestamped feedback, you revise.
Async communication. No daily standups. No Zoom calls unless something specific needs a screen share. You post a daily status update ("On track, delivering 3 edits by 9AM EST" or "Flagging an issue with the drone footage on Project X"). Short messages, clear information.

Feedback loop. Your first two weeks are supervised. David reviews every edit against the scorecard and walks you through the gaps. After 2 weeks, if your scores are consistently 80+, you move to independent delivery. David spot-checks rather than reviewing every project.

Folder structure and naming conventions are standardized. We'll give you the full system on Day 1. Every project is organized the same way. No improvisation on file management.

How to Apply
Send three things:

Your portfolio link. Must include at least 3 real estate video edits. If your portfolio is "available on request," don't apply.
A short note (3–5 sentences) answering this: Pick one of your RE edits and tell me what creative decision you made that you're most proud of, and one thing you'd change if you could redo it.

Your expected monthly rate and current availability (part-time or full-time).

Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed. One-line applications ("I'm interested, here's my resume") will not be reviewed. If you made it this far in the description, please add the word 'Banana' in the title of the email.

Timeline

We review applications within 5 business days
Top candidates receive a trial edit for a 60-second reel from our raw footage
Trial is scored on our 100-point quality scorecard
If you pass (75+), we make an offer and start onboarding

About WorldClass Creative
We're a boutique luxury real estate media company based in West Palm Beach, Florida.

This editing division is new. You'd be one of the first editors on the team. That means more direct access to David, more input on how things get built, and more room to grow as we scale. It also means you need to be comfortable with some ambiguity in the early weeks while processes solidify.

If that sounds like your kind of environment, apply.
