READ THIS FIRST
This is not an architect's role. The systems are already designed. The workflows, copy, doc lists, and pipeline logic are already written. Your job is to build exactly what I hand you, click by click, inside GoHighLevel, and build it correctly the first time.
If you want to design systems from scratch and make creative decisions, this role may not be for you.
If you love executing detailed build specs, clicking through GHL with precision, catching small inconsistencies, and watching automations come to life, keep reading.
THE PROJECT
I'm building a complete mortgage lead capture and nurture system in GoHighLevel for a US-based Senior Loan Officer in Phoenix, Arizona. The system handles:
Inbound mortgage leads from a landing page form
Bilingual (English + Spanish)
AI conversation bot for borrower questions
Booking integration with the loan team
Dynamic document request workflows based on borrower type (W-2, Self-Employed, VA, Refinance, HELOC)
Realtor partner update notifications
Pipeline stage progression with milestone communications
Long-term nurture for cold leads
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING
I will hand you detailed, step-by-step build specs. Every workflow node. Every condition. Every
Typical week:
Building and editing workflows in GoHighLevel (If/Else conditions, wait timers,
Configuring pipelines, opportunities, tags, and custom fields exactly as specified
Setting up
Configuring SMS templates with custom values and merge fields
Managing A2P 10DLC registrations end-to-end — brand registration, campaign builds, sample message review, handling carrier rejections and resubmissions, monitoring trust scores. As we productize this system into a resellable snapshot, every new Loan Officer client who buys it will need their own A2P 10DLC setup. You will own this process.
Building forms and embedding them on landing pages
Setting up webhooks and verifying they fire correctly
Configuring calendars and booking links
Testing every workflow end-to-end with test submissions before marking it done
Recording short Loom videos showing me what you built so I can verify it matches spec
Documenting any deviations or questions (don't guess — ask)
Cleaning up orphan workflow branches, broken conditions, and inconsistent tags
Maintaining a clean snapshot ready for resale to other Loan Officers
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS
You must have:
2+ years of hands-on GoHighLevel experience — not "I watched tutorials," actual building inside client sub-accounts
Strong understanding of GHL workflows: triggers, If/Else conditions, Wait actions, Send
Custom fields and custom values — you know the difference and when to use each
Pipeline and opportunity management — moving opportunities between stages via workflows
Webhook trigger experience — receiving form data via webhook and mapping it to contact fields
Email
A2P 10DLC verification expertise — you have personally taken at least one client through the full A2P 10DLC registration process inside GoHighLevel and gotten approved. You know:
How to register the brand (EIN, business info, website, privacy policy requirements)
How to build the campaign and write sample messages that pass carrier review
What gets campaigns rejected (vague opt-in language, missing STOP/HELP, mismatched use case, weak privacy policy) and how to fix it
How to handle resubmissions when carriers push back
Trust score implications and how to improve a low score
The difference between brand approval and campaign approval, and what each unlocks
Strong written English — you'll read detailed specs and need to communicate clearly when something is unclear
Extreme attention to detail — a tag spelled "Lead Captured" vs "lead-captured" silently breaks a workflow. You catch that before I do.
Self-discipline to follow instructions exactly — if the spec says "wait 30 minutes," you don't change it to 1 hour because you think it's better
Reliable internet + quiet workspace + ability to record Loom videos
NICE TO HAVE (BONUS POINTS)
Spanish language skills (the system is bilingual — knowing Spanish lets you spot if Spanish copy is wrong, but I'll handle Spanish QA myself if you don't)
Mortgage industry exposure
Experience with Arive (mortgage LOS) — we'll be syncing GHL ? Arive in Sprint 2
Zapier or Make.com experience for integrations
Snapshot creation and white-label deployment experience
AI bot configuration inside GHL (Conversation AI / playbooks)
THE PERSON I'M LOOKING FOR
Green flags:
You test your own work before saying "done"
You record a quick Loom showing what you built — you don't make me hunt for it
You ask clarifying questions before building, not after breaking something
You spot inconsistencies in specs and flag them
You say "I don't know that, but I can learn it" instead of pretending
You hit deadlines and communicate when you can't
You treat the GHL account like your own business
Red flags (don't apply if):
You need someone holding your hand on every click
You change things "because you thought it was better" without asking
You disappear for days without communication
You exaggerate your GHL experience
You wait for instructions instead of executing the spec in front of you
COMPENSATION + GROWTH
Starting: $300–$400/month for 20 hours/week (rate based on experience proven in interview)
Performance bonuses when we hit launch milestones
Raises as you prove yourself and take on more responsibility
Long-term role — when the snapshot productization scales, the person who knows the system best becomes more valuable, not less
Paid time off and holidays added over time for long-term team members
HOW TO APPLY
Send a message with ALL of the following. Applications missing any item will not be reviewed — this is the first test of whether you follow detailed instructions.
1. Start your message with the exact phrase: "PURPLE MORTGAGE"
(This proves you read the full post. No "purple mortgage," no "Purple-Mortgage," no creative variations. Exact match.)
2. A short paragraph (3–5 sentences) about your GoHighLevel experience: how many years, what types of clients/industries you've built for, and what you'd say is your strongest skill inside GHL.
3. A 2–4 minute Loom video walking me through ONE workflow you've personally built inside GoHighLevel. Show me the canvas, explain what each node does, and tell me what problem the workflow solved. No Loom = no review. If you've never built a workflow you can show, this role is not for you.
4. Answer this question in writing:
A form submits to a GHL webhook. The form sends a field called preferred_language with values english or spanish. The workflow has an If/Else condition checking if Preferred Language (custom field) equals English. After submission, the contact is created correctly but the workflow always goes down the "None" branch even for English leads. What are the top 3 things you would check to debug this?
5. Answer this A2P 10DLC question in writing (this is non-negotiable — your answer tells me immediately whether you've actually done this work):
A client's A2P 10DLC campaign was rejected by the carrier with the reason: "Sample messages do not match the registered use case and opt-in language is unclear." The use case is "Mortgage Lead Follow-Up" and the sample SMS reads: "Hey John, this is Tony from GX4. Got your info — call me back at
(a) Why did this get rejected?
(b) What specific changes would you make to the sample message to get it approved on resubmission?
(c) What else on the website or form might the carrier be flagging?
6. Tell me about one client you took through A2P 10DLC registration. How long did it take? Was it approved on first submission or did you have to resubmit? What was the hardest part?
7. Your weekly availability in PH time, and how many hours per week overlap with US Pacific Time (Phoenix / Arizona).
8. Your internet speed test link (speedtest.net result screenshot or link).
9. Your monthly rate expectation for 20 hours/week.
FINAL NOTE
This role is for executors, people who love being given a clear plan and bringing it to life flawlessly. The system architecture is locked. The copy is written. The workflows are designed. What I need is a precision builder who can take my specs and turn them into working automation, week after week, while the snapshot grows into a resellable product.
If you're that person, I'd love to meet you.
Looking forward to your application ????
