Social Media and SEO Expert

Kooga NZ is a long-established New Zealand sportswear and teamwear brand supplying schools, clubs, businesses, and sporting organisations throughout New Zealand and the Pacific.

We are looking for an experienced Social Media & SEO Specialist to help strengthen our online presence, improve website performance, and drive customer engagement and sales growth.

This role is suited to someone hands-on, commercially minded, and experienced in integrating digital platforms into a coordinated marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and improve SEO performance and Google search rankings for our WordPress/WooCommerce website
Integrate and optimise website connectivity with:

Facebook
Instagram
LinkedIn
Meta Business tools
Manage social media campaigns and scheduled content across all platforms
Improve website traffic, customer engagement, and online conversions
Monitor and report on SEO rankings, analytics, and campaign performance
Optimise product pages, metadata, keywords, backlinks, and site structure
Assist with ecommerce growth initiatives and online customer experience
Ensure website content and social channels remain current, professional, and aligned with the Kooga brand
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 5+ years proven experience in:
SEO management
Social media marketing
WordPress and WooCommerce
Meta Business Suite integration
LinkedIn business marketing
Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools
Experience improving organic search rankings and ecommerce performance
Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results
Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience with sports, apparel, retail, or ecommerce brands advantageous
