JOB OVERVIEW

About Us
Optimal Wound Care is a mobile wound care company serving homebound and elderly patients across Pennsylvania and Maryland. We also operate a growing ecommerce brand focused on honey-based wound care products and consumer health.
We're a lean, systems-driven team building content that drives referrals, grows our online store, and builds brand trust in a healthcare-adjacent space. We move fast, document everything, and hold high standards.

The Role
We're hiring a Video Editor & Graphic Designer who can handle both short-form video production and polished visual content across two business lines. You'll work closely with the operations team to produce content that is on-brand, compliant, and conversion-focused.
This is a creative-execution role. You'll be given direction and assets — your job is to deliver high-quality output efficiently and consistently.

What You'll Do
Video Editing:
Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook
Add captions, motion text, transitions, and sound design
Create product demo and testimonial-style videos for ecommerce
Edit talking-head or educational content into clean, engaging clips
Maintain a consistent visual style across all video output

Graphic Design:
Design social media posts, carousels, and story graphics in Canva
Build marketing collateral: flyers, one-pagers, email headers
Create product graphics and ad creatives for ecommerce campaigns
Adapt templates and build reusable Canva Brand Kit assets
Support light website visual updates (Wix)

What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
2+ years of video editing experience (portfolio required)
Strong Canva skills — you build, don't just drag and drop
Proficiency in at least one pro editing tool: CapCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut
Reliable, communicates proactively, hits deadlines without reminders
Comfortable working in a healthcare-adjacent brand (no clinical experience needed — content compliance awareness expected)
Able to take a brief and execute with minimal back-and-forth

Nice-to-haves:
Experience with ecommerce or DTC health/wellness brands
Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management tools
Basic motion graphics (After Effects, CapCut templates, Canva animations)
Experience managing a Canva Brand Kit
