JOB OVERVIEW

About QuietLab

QuietLab is a growing multi-eight-figure DTC sleep brand built on great products and great direct response. We deliver problem-solving sleep products that help people live longer and regain their energy. Now we're hiring a Marketing Operations Manager to own the operational layer across all four marketing engines — so we can launch more, scale more, and become the most talked-about sleep brand online by 2029.

The Opportunity

You will own people operations, project management, AI implementation, file and tool management, and cross-engine coordination across all four marketing departments — Content, Creative, Media-buying, and Funnels. You'll make sure every initiative on the marketing calendar gets executed, every team hits their deadlines and KPIs and allow the head of marketing to stays focused on growth.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact, highly-incentivized role for a senior operator who can drive execution from day one. Real authority across the full marketing function, direct access to leadership, and the opportunity to build the marketing operational infrastructure of one of the fastest-growing sleep brands in the world.

Responsibilities

Marketing calendar and project management
- Execute the marketing calendar end-to-end — CEO sets it, you run it
- Project-manage every promo, launch, and initiative from brief to ship
- Track deliverables across all four engines
- Hold engine LEADs and agencies accountable to deadlines
- Flag bottlenecks proactively — including when CEO direction is unclear or shifting

People operations
- Run 1:1s with direct reports
- Build KPIs, scorecards, and review cadences for every role across the four engines
- Run operational 1:1s with engine LEADs on throughput, blockers, utilization — not creative or strategic direction
- Administer hiring across editors, strategists, agencies, specialists — sourcing, screening, scheduling
- Calculate bonuses and manage performance infrastructure

File and tool management
- Own ClickUp workflows across all four engines
- Maintain asset library, brief intake, and file flow
- Manage tool access, security, and SaaS billing

AI implementation
- Drive AI adoption in video editing, content generation, LP building, email, and media ops
- Manage the AI Expert as a direct report
- Collaborate with department leaders to scope projects

Cross-engine coordination
- Route assets between engines
- Coordinate agency onboarding sessions
- Hold all four engines accountable to the marketing calendar
- Keep engines running in sync, not parallel and disconnected

Data accuracy and reporting
- Own dashboard accuracy across the full function
- Deliver weekly written summary to CEO
- Audit data sources and fix integrity issues
- Make sure CEO and engine LEADs trust the numbers

What Success Looks Like

Day 30
- Marketing calendar live and being executed
- KPIs and scorecards live for every role
- 1:1 cadence running for all direct reports
- All current agencies on documented SLAs
- CEO not coordinating between engines
- Weekly written summary live
- AI Expert hired or in process

Day 60
- All four engines hitting deliverable dates
- Underperformers addressed — coached, PIP, or exited
- Agencies on documented SLAs with deliverable tracking running
- Bonus calculation infrastructure live
- New agency onboarding sessions taking less than half a day of CEO time

Day 90
- Team running without CEO involvement on execution, coordination, or accountability
- Performance management cycle running without escalation
- Dashboards trusted — CEO reads the summary in under 15 minutes and d ---------- from it
- Calendar runs as a system — CEO adds initiatives, you make them happen end-to-end

Everything you build speeds the team up. If a system adds friction without moving the needle, it gets cut.

Who This Is For

- You've managed operations across multiple teams simultaneously — calendars, deliverables, people, tools
- You've built KPI and scorecard systems from scratch — not inherited someone else's
- You've held senior peers accountable without being deferential
- You're fluent in ClickUp or equivalent — you know what good looks like and what broken looks like
- You understand DTC marketing well enough to route work intelligently without directing it
- You've driven AI adoption across a real team workflow — not just tested tools personally
- You ship v1 fast and iterate — you don't wait for perfect before deploying
- You manage people through clarity and accountability, not consensus and approval
- You're data-first, systems-oriented, and naturally calm under chaos
- You protect execution speed above everything — every system you build makes the team faster

Who This Is NOT For

- If you need to be told what to do — this role requires high agency from Week 1
- If you want to set creative, media, or conversion strategy — engine LEADs own that
- If you're conflict-averse or defer to seniority — you'll need to hold senior peers accountable
- If you build complex systems for the sake of complexity — we need speed, not friction
- If you treat AI as a trend rather than a tool — active deployment is required
- If you need recognition to stay motivated — the wins here are invisible by design
- If you can't push back on a CEO — this role requires spine

Offer

Compensation
- Competitive base salary based on experience and results
- High on-target performance bonus
- Equity path as you grow with the company

What you also get:
- Real authority to build systems and make changes
- Direct access to the founder and mentors who've scaled past 9 figures.
- You are part of a passionate, purpose-driven team of killers.
- You have a budget for hires from the start.
- You have a budget for consulting and personal development.
- Yearly team retreats and travel
- Fully Remote
- QuietLab products for you and your family
