Our projects range from single-family homes and ADUs to larger community developments. We emphasize precision, efficiency, and strong cost management across every stage of the construction process.

Core Responsibilities (Cost Management Emphasis)
- Assist in preparing project cost budgets, including preliminary estimates, detailed budgets, and cost baselines.
- Perform cost control and dynamic cost tracking, monitoring actual expenditures against planned budgets.
- Prepare regular cost forecasts, variance analyses, and financial reports for project and executive teams.
- Review and analyze bids, subcontractor proposals, and material quotations, supporting cost comparison and value engineering efforts.
- Track and document the cost impact of change orders, maintaining accurate and up-to-date cost logs.
- Support remote coordination of project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and contract documentation.
- Collaborate virtually with architects, engineers, designers, and contractors to maintain alignment on cost and schedule impacts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of construction budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and cost monitoring methodologies.
- Proficient with project management software and remote collaboration platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and support bid reviews, procurement, and contract management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2 years+ of experience in construction cost control, estimating, or project coordination.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA, cost-related credentials) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Familiarity with California building codes, permitting requirements, and construction standards
- Experience using Procore or similar construction management platforms
- Working knowledge of MS Project for cost tracking, reporting, and workflow management
- Chinese language skills
