JOB OVERVIEW

Hiring ONE editor who can cut cinematic vlog content that feels like a short film.
Pay per video to start. If the first edits land, this becomes monthly work with more creative freedom.

The work:
You'll receive mixed footage — drone, Osmo Pocket, mirrorless, sometimes more — and turn it into a cinematic episode.

That means: full edit, colour grading across mixed sources, music selection, sound design, and VFX where the story calls for it. Cut in DaVinci Resolve. Deliverables: final export + the raw Resolve project file with bins and timelines intact.
Turnaround: 1–1.5 weeks per episode once footage is delivered.
____

Pay:
Base discussed individually based on your porfolio + performance bonuses. Paid test task if your portfolio matches.
PLUS > a VERY good project to add to your portfolio.
____

You're a fit if:

You cut in DaVinci + color grade
You can match drone, Osmo, and camera footage into one consistent film (matching style)
You have a real portfolio of cinematic short-form in lifestyle, travel, automotive, or fashion
You understand pacing, sound design, and when not to cut
You hit deadlines
____

You're not a fit if:

You work in Premiere and don't want to switch
You think "cinematic" means slow-mo + lo-fi beats
Your default is jump cuts and punch-ins
You use the same LUT on every project
You've never edited vlog-style videos
